I'm enjoying this game...

...when I don't see any of the damn stupid bugs. There is just something about the game that has a certain charm.

The sad thing is is that you need to play it a GOOD amount of time before the game will grow on you. At first it's easy to get turned off by the poor animations and problems...

What's going to happen next year when the ESPN presentation is gone? Honestly, I don't think the title will be as strong.

Remember, they just implemented ESPN's presentation into their game. Take2 has yet to implement a complete graphical presentation that can rival a big sports company such as ESPN or Fox Sports without having a license to "copy" something.

Just think: without the ESPN presentation and sound crew, things won't be the same AT ALL next year...

Yes, despite some little bugs I'm really enjoying it. Had the opposing teams RF get stuck against the right field corner in a game. It would have only been a double, so I only took two. The CF came over and threw the ball in, resumed game. I can live with it because the rest of the game is good.

I just did a custom soundtrack and to hear Hell's Bells play when Hoffman walks in......great addition.

I'm trying to find a WAV converter so I can put some specific heckles into the game using the High Heat WAV file.

What bugs does the game have besides the passed ball thing? (Which is now fixed BTW...........?)

I think it's a great job and am looking forward to next years when the smoothing and refining of a great engine are done.

This game just took on a whole new meaning to me since a solution has been found for the passed ball bug. I was enjoying it before, but now I just feel like I can let myself get fully immersed knowing that I won't get all those passed balls to irritate me.

I am not at all worried about the ESPN license being gone. There is still a good chance that Miller and Morgan can be resigned to do the commentary for the game, which would be great. They are by far the best duo I've ever heard doing commentary in a sports game. If they don't get them resigned, then there are a lot of others in the world of baseball they can sign to do commentary...as long as it's not McCarver. I hate that guy!

I'm really enjoying the game so far. It has a charm about it that makes it fun. I think that in 2 yrs this game will be great if the guys at 2ksports takes our criticism to heart and not deflect it.
