Problems and fixes

I've been playing MVP for a while and tried out ESPN yesterday and really enjoyed it. However i've heard there are a ton of problems with the game and don't want to start a season if its going to be waste because of bugs. Can someone please list the major problems with the game and if there is a fix for any of them.

Wild Pitch - I know theres a fix for this by changing sliders

Anything else ?

I’m hearing there are roster problems that occur with the in-season trades, plus the CPU teams’ rosters can get bunged up as the season progresses. The only fix would be to control all teams and go in to a CPU team’s roster and fix it if gets messed up. Now that particular fix means releasing and/or signing FA's, then letting the CPU reorder rosters. I personally can’t see how that would work in franchise with budgets, time constraints, etc.

I’m still editing and haven’t started a season, and I don’t know if you can control all teams playing a single season. I hear you can only control one team in franchise, and if that’s the case it sounds like one would have to live with the CPU P batting cleanup or whatever… although I’m sure those bunged up rosters are going to cause game freezing issues down the line, just like they did in NFL 2K5.

the only time that i have roster problems with season trades is when i trade 1 player for 2, or someone on my MLB roster for a minor league player. easy fix though just send a player down or up. and i have yet to see a CPU pitcher to bat cleanup, and i am 2 months into my franchise. the only real trouble i am seeing is that my players dont get tired. i have played every single game without having to give any of my players except pitchers days off

I have heard several people say their P's are hitting in the DH lineup in franchise. You seeing anything like that?

I have heard several people say their P's are hitting in the DH lineup in franchise. You seeing anything like that?

There are hard to resolve intermittent roster probs that will cause the SS position to disappear and two CF positions to appear in your lineup screen, for example. Haven't isolated cause or solution, I usually have to move some people up or down or cut some AA guy to straighten it out. It's VERY annoying but resolveable when it occurs with some patience. Also heard guys that used latest online roster felt that it resolved this, but I've been using a codejunkies.com AR XBox download and still wrestle with the problem from time to time.

Passed balls prob resolved by setting CPU error slider to 50 so this is the biggest remaining issue.
