    Confidence Meter problems

Well I had posted a topic about a month ago about my relieving pitchers confidence being at nothing even after getting strike-outs. Well I am still having that problem but after playing a game in my career I see that my batters are having the same problem. I could see this for 2 of my hitters as Randa and LaRue are hitting under .200 so I understand that completely but the rest are hitting over .250. The worst part is Griffey is batting .400 with 9 homeruns (only on the 15th game of the season) and his confidence is at just about nothing. Also Jimenez is batting .318 and has no confidence. Is anyone else having this problem?

Really, it’s an incredibly realistic feature – even if it maybe doesn’t work in franchise ;-)

Stamina is one thing – guy pitches for 6-7 innings then gets the hook. But what if he gets off to a horrible start: say, 6 hits off him in the first inning? What’s the incentive to yank a high rated P if it’s just Stamina that determines how well he’ll pitch for the next few innings? I think it’s a brilliant feature.

They need to implement this in their football game as well. Again and otherwise, what’s the incentive to yank the high-rated starting QB when he throws 4 INT’s, and sub in the lower rated guy? There is no incentive, and it would make no sense to.

i understand what you mean, i guess it sometimes seems to go down to zero to quickly and its hard to get it back up.

I'm now 9-7 which isn't too bad for the reds. I think if they worked on it to the point where each home run, each hit, each strike out, etc. affected the meter then this could be a VERY awesome feature which should be in all sports games. But right now it's a feature I wish I could turn off at times.
