The coolest thing I just saw

I was playing against the Twins at the Metrodome and there were 2 outs. My batter hits a pop fly out to the left fielder for the 3rd out. Then he turns around and throws the ball in to the crowd. Has anyone seen this at any other stadiums?

I've seen it...about 3+ times a game when playing at GAB.

I've seen it a lot as well.

I think a neater small touch is the animation after an infielder fields the final out of the inning and he holds the ball for a moment or two then throws it on the field.

I had my first home plate collision the other day, and I charged the catcher and knocked him down, but he still had the ball. What was neat, was that he stuck out the ball to show the ump he still had it.

I had that yesterday too, but while he was holding it i advanced my runner to second!! My brother hates me for that!!
