    Avoiding stat problems and glitch's

    I'm about to start a season and know there are various ways to avoid stat problems and other glitch's.

    1 - sim with no news
    2 - Use good sliders to get rid of passed ball glitch
    3 - What else should I do to avoid problems ?

    thanks in advance

    Did you download my roster? I fixed (for the most part) the 3rd baseman never charging bunts his way.

            You also can try this;

            Go into your xbox dashboard, Go to Memory. Look for your MLB Saved Files. You will get an option to reset. Hit reset. You won't lose any saved data. What this does is clear-up any cluttered data on your files.

                I didn't see any option to reset only to copy or delete.

                    take players out of lineup before trading. always manually select you 25 man roster, not auto. and only let CPU adjust lineup and rotation after you manually adjust to 25 man. clear all depth charts, and make sure that they dont have one of your starters listed as 0% in the depth chart- fix this by moving to him and double tapping "A" on him and it will correct to 100%.

                        Has anyone found a way to stop the glitch where you play a game in franchise, then you check back and the calendar says it has not been played? I tried simming without news but I still encountered this problem, and I got so pissed I stopped playing this game because franchise is the only mode I like to play and this glitch makes it impossible to continue the season without messed up stats.

                            Generally the first thing I do to start any franchise is gut the roster. A few players stay, but most get traded away. I've done this with two different teams now and haven't seen the double position roster bug. I just do one deal at a time, and let the cpu optimize the roster after each trade as prompted. I'm playing on the xbox version with the feb. roster update with basically no changes. (i think i took that stupid knuckleball from Smoltz, but that's about it.)

                            Anyway, just my two cents.
