I'm messing with sliders, getting things as I want them, and am pretty close. I've gotten pitch counts a bit better, I'm making better contact, etc...Feeling like this game is probably the closest I'll ever get to the High Heat experience again...
I'm the Mets leading against the Phils 5-4 in the 8th. Bases juiced and 2 outs. High chop to third, Wright charges, throws to first and barely gets the runner (slow, I believe it was Lieberthal). Inning ends, figure I've averted disaster...
Scoreboard shows 5-5. It counted the runner from 3rd who apparently scored before Lieberthal was retired, even though on a play at first the run shouldn't count.
Looper subsequently gets torched in the 9th and I lose the game 6-5.
Stuff like this is INEXCUSABLE for a company to let past. I don't need flashy graphics, I don't need bells and whistles...but I do need the game itself to be played correctly and SCORED correctly.
I just don't have the time this year to go into MVP and fix what needs fixing from a gameplay standpoint, to do the rosters myself. I wish I did...besides, MVP even stutters for me after the 2nd patch. MLB has its own batch of issues...
Just incredibly frustrating.
