Confidence meter issues?

I have Adam Dunn and I'm leading the majors in HR's,total bases, 5 in batting avg, and 4 in runs scored but he has zero confidence. Any idea of whats going on ? Im in second place by 1 game in my division and wild card chase.

I figured it out, Im swinging at bad pitches way too much! very impressive that it is effected by every pitch and swing.

Confidence is dumb, just like the player happiness thing in MVP is dumb. All this crap they try to make these games better just make them worse. The biggest problem in this game is the fact that you don't have the option to turn confidence off.

Yes, there should be an option for OFF. Regardless, IMO confidence is a great idea that’s way over-programmed in this game. I say great idea because if your starters are in a funk, you have to decide whether or not to sit them. Otherwise, you’ll always just play the guys with the highest ratings. So maybe Funk meter would be a better name…
