Walk Question that has been bugging me

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but this has been bugging me for a long time. Under the Walks allowed rating for pitchers is an A+ mean that he gives up less walks or more walks? I ask this because Im three seasons into the game and all the best pitchers have a F rating under walks. However, in the normal ratings they normally have closer to an A. So I gave all my pitchers A+ under walk ratings but they still managed to give upm a bunch of walks. Anybody know?

You would think A+ means fewer walks allowed than F...? Generally, slider to the right in this game means better ratings. And it won't affect User P's. You give up is determine how many walks you give up, according to how well you pitch. That rating's no doubt for simming purposes and CPU pitchers.
