So far all these players are from the free agent list. Next will start on the teams. Just trying to find players by birthday so far, after that, will go back and check for other ways to tell. It might be a long process, but it will be worth it.

Kyle Drabek is still in the Phillies organization. He's Kirk Darby on Triple-A.

You've got to look for more than initials this year. The B-Day doesn't match, plus he's rated terribly. There's no way that's Drabek.

So far all these players are from the free agent list. Next will start on the teams. Just trying to find players by birthday so far, after that, will go back and check for other ways to tell. It might be a long process, but it will be worth it.

To be honest, the best way to go, for me, is to look at the ratings. You're going to have to change height/weight and b-days, and sometimes what side of the plate they hit from. The things you cannot change are throwing arm and appearance. So those are the most important. I'm doing the top 100 prospects, and so far have found 17 of the top 18 on a team. I've had to get a little creative, but at least they're top prospects in the game. Initials and even B-Days will fool you this year if you rely on them. This makes pitchers much harder to find, however. Position players are fairly easy.

SS Cesar Tobias on Giants minor league is actually Carlos Triunfel of Mariners minor league. I don't know why he was moved to SF this year.

I wasn't patched last year so why expect it to be done this year? We get no answers! Ronnie over at 2K Sports was supposed to be looking into this matter but that was last week.

He's not saying anything & that's the problem with stuff like this. They like to leave us hanging.

This is why I am glad I purchased the game for the PC. Ty from EAMods, and MVPMods is working on a roster editor for the PC. He made one last year which got around the 150 man editing limit. The other things that can be modded are stadium ads, and if like last year custom cyberfaces. So far, PNC Park is already modded with ads such as the Wheeling Casino, PNC Bank, etc.

i just found pedro alvarez. he is james astacio on the cubs AAA team. thats who he was last year in the game. his attributes are horrible though.

I know, Tony, I know. The one good thing is that I have the PC version. Last year for 2k9, a fellow by the name of Ty on eamods released an external roster editor that let you get around the 150 man roster editing limit for the PC. He said once he gets his game on Monday, he will start working on a version for 2k10. So, I figured I would start working on the names a little bit at a time.

That fellow would be TyWiggins over at MVPmods, and he said he would no longer be able to make the roster editor due to his new job. So it looks like some else will have to create a editor.
