Re: mkharsh33 MLB 2K11 ROSTERS (360 ONLY)
No problem, and thank you for the kind words. I am more than happy to update any player that needs it. We'll keep an eye on Thames. He's hit 3 HR just in July, so he might be finding his footing. He had a nice day today.STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Also I think you gave Chapman a perfect rating, he has the stuff, but he just lacks control sometimes. He struck out 5 I believe in 2 innings today.
This isn't your fault, but 2k did a TERRIBLE job in the gameplay for power. Great rostersCincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: mkharsh33 MLB 2K11 ROSTERS (360 ONLY)
I'm not totally sure, but I believe he leads the league in multiple strkeouts in games played (meaning: strikes two or more times in any game played)?? And I believe he has more of these than Adam Dunn this year if I recall... Like you said, he's either good or really bad...STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: mkharsh33 MLB 2K11 ROSTERS (360 ONLY)
Guys...
In my next roster file I will include both the MLB All-Star game rosters, of which will reflect the actual lineups and pitching staffs...
ALSO: I will have the accurate rosters & lineups of the USA vs. World Futures teams. I will get these following the MLB All-Star game Tuesday night. Thought you might enjoy playing with these.
I have the USA Futures team already completed. Now, the jersey selections in the Create-A-Team are simply awful, so I'll try to get the colors as close as I can. I cannot find a link to the actual jersey numbers, so those will be off. If anyone has a link please provide it here!!! The logo options are just stupid, so I went with the "castle" because it was the least dumb of all.
Thanks! mikeSTEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: mkharsh33 MLB 2K11 ROSTERS (360 ONLY)
Harsh, I wanted to share some findings I made in regards to contracts/budgets since I saw that you were editing a few contracts:
PART 1:
It seems as though the budget remains a fixed 1:1 ratio.
Here's an example, if you take the current payroll of the braves and raise it to 120mil (numerator is the payroll, denominator is the budget):
83 120
--- = ---
103 148
The budget for your team should be around 148 million. I haven't had a chance to fully test this yet but I'm betting that's the logic.
PART 2:
You may have noticed that player salaries are way off in terms of money. This is by design, not a fault, with the 2K team. The highest contract available is 26 mil thus making it impossible to sign A-rods contract or vernon wells. What I noticed is that the salaries are correct but are a ratio of their real life contract. Here comes the math again: Every in-game contract is .80% of the their real life contract. Try it out on anyone. A-rod for example is making 32 mil. Times that by .80 and you get 25.6 mil. The exact amount he is scheduled to make in year one. So if anyone wants to set correct contracts, DON'T use real life numbers. Multiply real life numbers by .80 and then adjust the in-game contract. I don't know why 2K has it like this but it must be a limitation of their engine. Either way, the contracts are all evenly scaled down so it's still realistic.
Second bit is lengths: Contract lengths seem way off. This is by design as well. This game doesn't have arbitration OR options. 2K has assumed that arbitration is an extension of the contract. Meaning a 1 year contract with 4 years arbitration is a 5 year contract in game. You'll notice this is also because 2K doesn't take into account service time, which means players with less than 6 years service time will not be free agents and have contracts extending until they get to that 6 years. This explains why Hosmer and Moustakas have 7 year contracts.
Also, any player with an option is automatically assumed to be a free agent. If you have a 2 year deal with a club option, the game only reads that as a 2 year contract not a 3 year deal.
Some contract lengths DO need to be adjusted though. I saw a few with 6+ years of service time with 4 year contracts when they should only have 1 year contracts.
I hope this helps!Comment

Re: mkharsh33 MLB 2K11 ROSTERS (360 ONLY)
Detroit... appreciate the info. but I'm not going to be fixing any contracts. I just don't have the time nor the desire. To have to dig up all that info. up and then plug it in just tires me out thinking about it. Baseball carries too many players at too many levels to do all that. hope you understand...
Th3Rush... i am going to make them as created teams. you cannot edit the all-star teams, but i'll make them as created teams. so the next file will have 4 created teams: AL and NL All-Star Teams AND the World and USA Futures Teams.
I was able to get all the necessary players created that I was missing so I'll have the World Team done tonight as well. So both of those teams will be done soon. I'll then see what kind of info. I can dig up on the MLB All-Star teams and get those rolling.STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: mkharsh33 MLB 2K11 ROSTERS (360 ONLY)
NEW FILE UPLOADED!!!!!!!!!!
Tuesday, July 12th 2:30 A.M.
"mkharsh33 All Star Break"
Added: USA & World Future Teams AND AL & NL All Star Teams - all are create-a-team additions.
NOTE: you CANNOT get all players on the AL and NL All Star Teams due to restricting rosters at 25. I had to make some judgment calls on who I selected and who I left off. Starting lineups are 100% accurate and reflect the real game.
See page 1 - post 1 for the offline file...
If you downloaded the file through 2K Share, fix the following:
Nathan Adco- Kansas City Royals TO Nathan Adcock (Majors – Pitcher)
Charlie Furbus- Detroit Tigers TO Charlie Furbush (AAA - Pitcher)
Brandon Dickerson- St. Louis Cardinals TO Brandon Dickson (AAA – Pitcher)
Deryk Hooke- St. Louis Cardinals TO Deryk Hooker (AA – Pitcher)
Chase Whitney- New York Yankees TO Chase Whitley (A – Pitcher)
A 5 Star rating is appreciated! Thanks!STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS
