Re: REDitor II [MLB 2K12]
if not, what about fixing the astros 1975 road uniforms?.....it has the same white home uniform for the road uniform. or maybe changing the road one to gray? at least the 1975 uniform has the right colors and hat logo.Comment

It may be possible to swap unis around, explain again what your looking for. You want the 75 road to grey but from what year?Comment

Re: REDitor II [MLB 2K12]
Where are the settings to determine if a pitcher is Middle Relief, Long Relief, Setup, or a closer?
Update
As far as I can tell the 2k12 tables is incomplete.
Each player table should have a stated "Pitcher Role", all position players are listed as long relief (options are Starter, long relief, middle relief, setup, & closer)
Then on the teams table each team should have listed what that team uses for their Middle Relief, Long Relief, Setup, and closer (the 5 starter are in the table)
Not having these in the tables are leading to two issues
1st When we copy and paste one roster to another those values are not changed in the roster you are editing. So what ever those values were before are what they are afterword. This creates the problem when a position player was pasted where a pitcher was his pitcher role might be Starter. I believe this is what causes the random freezes and CTD
2nd in-game when a player gets hurt and the computer makes an automatic roster moves it will reallocate all players on the team based on Pitcher Role from the player table. That is why Aroldis Chapman gets moved from Started back to Closer when someone gets hurt on the Reds team
Here is a little info on finding the Pitcher Role for the Players Table
A couple of days ago, I found that the file "roster.iff" is readable after decompressing it with Iff Editor. What I found so far is listed below with Hex Editor. Take the Lincecum data section in roster.iff for example. Here's the data section between 0002aa98-0002ab9f. _______________________ 51...Last edited by Krawhitham; 03-09-2013, 11:20 PM.Comment

Re: REDitor II [MLB 2K12]
tvman, i stand corrected....i did some research and 1975 was the first year with the rainbow uniforms and they actually wore the same white home uniform for home AND road games. weird. so, i guess it wasn't an error on 2k's part.Comment

Re: REDitor II [MLB 2K12]
I played around with the REDitor and looked at injuries. Which values do I need to fill in other than IsInjured, InjType and DLStatus? Do I need to InjDaysLeft and DLDaysLeft if I place a guy on the 15 day DL? Also wondering if I need to full in the InjBD_Day and InjDB_Month?
For example, I want to place Ian Stewart on the 15 day DL. Just looking to see what I need change for values.GT: Herkyalert

Re: REDitor II [MLB 2K12]
Still having issues with getting guys to show up on the DL. I've edited everything with the proper values and they are still showing up as Healthy when I start my dynasty. Has anyone been able to get injuries into the game with this tool?GT: Herkyalert

Re: REDitor II [MLB 2K12]
Entering injuries is really frustrating with this tool. Players show up injured when you load the roster, but once you start a franchise they are all healthy. This is with the injuries on.
I even tried to go back and start the injuries in February (when the franchise calender starts), and stretch them out until they should be healed in real life. No go in franchise.
I am using 12 as the year value for injury. If I use 2012 they won't even show up injured when you load the roster. The tutorial says the values for year can be between 0 and 127. I wonder if that is a problem since there is no real value stated for what 2012 is.GT: Herkyalert

Re: REDitor II [MLB 2K12]
Question about Reditor. Just bought my license.
I loaded up a franchise file on my pc.
Exported the Players tab to .csv.
did a global edit on Excel of anticipation attribute to the Players file
Imported the new Players file to the program.
Saved it (didn't change the file name)
tried to load it on my xbox, corrupt or damaged file)
then resigned it, tried again, same thing.
Can I do a global edit by exporting to .csv, making the edit, importing from .csv?
Or do I need to buy that extra interface that allows global editing?Comment

Re: REDitor II [MLB 2K12]
If you enter in injuries with the ReEditor it will totally mess up names of players that were created or edited name-wise. I used a file where I names all of the Cubs minor league teams and it jacked up all the names. Even if you try to edit them back within the game it messes up other names, and makes first names the same as last.
Looks using this tool to do anything injury-wise just messes up your rosters. Unless anyone else has made this work I'm out of options on what to do. I used a franchise file that was simmed to the start of the season, entered the injuries in ReEditor, and then notices a ton of names were messed up.
I like the concept of the tool but something is off with it because I know the community guys were working on a roster file they encountered this as well.GT: Herkyalert
