Mkharsh - this will also be pretty far down your list of things to do, but I've noticed five specific players on the Red Sox minor league teams who should be free agents AND are actual real players.

Jason Repko - REDitor ID# 1504, Team #49 --> FA
Jesse Carlson - ID# 1511, Team #49 --> FA
Mark Prior - ID# 885, Team #49 --> FA
Brandon Duckworth - ID # 3018, Team #82 --> FA
Mike Rivera - ID # 1381, Team #82 --> FA

I'm using soxprospects.com for the info on the Sox (I wish there were sites like this for every team...) and it has scouting reports, pictures, and also projected rosters with much, much more.

Also, Ryan Kalish - ID # 1500 is on the 60 day DL with a torn labrum (injury code #1587 I believe) until mid-July.

As I said, very minor stuff that is not immediately necessary, but this does make room in AAA for guys like Overbay (even though he'll probably opt out if he doesn't make the opening roster), Nava or Sweeney, etc. Thanks for the great work and I'll try to get these rosters to work on the PC so we can take care of the PC guys as well.

Mike prior has since been signed by the Reds to a minor league deal with an invitation to spring training.

Bretsky, are you doing ratings still? Only reason I ask is if you are taking a break I might just do my own with the file.

YaI'm taking a little break right now, I go on vacation for a week soon so I'd go ahead making your own little adjustments. While we take a break from ratings and work on other things such as CAPS and depth charts.

Ok, thanks. I am looking over the red sox right now. I like it, nice work. A couple players had some complaints though so I thought I would share it on behalf of them.

Jackie Bradley - Wants to know why he hits lefties so good but not righties considering he is lefty after all?

Xander Bogaerts - Hey bro? Where is my 3B eligibility, you know I am moving there right? Also, where did my power go? Damn, Jackie Bradley almost has more power than I do?

Blake Swihart - Yo man why did you take a star away from me?

Allen Webster - Bretsky dude, you know I can hit 99 on the gun with that sinker. How come it's not part of my arsenal..what am I to do with this 94 straight fastball? No wonder I lost a star.

Matt Barnes - No love for me man?

I appreciate the feedback. But please note a couple things: sarcastic comments, even if they aren't meant to come across that way, won't help anyone's cause. Secondly, everyone here has their favorite team that they know more about. I'm not Bill James and this is not my profession. There will be oversights...

If we are going to do edits on this file it needs to have an organizational communication flow. Just saying one wants to edit the file might be good for you but it must be done in our team's format. Also, one can be really biased toward their own team. I get concerned when someone says they will work on the file and they're griping about the ratings of minor league players.

Lastly, I did not touch any ratings. Must be a placebo effect. I went over every team's depth chart and pitching staff and I created 5 new players as well. The transactions that needed to be updated took 20 minutes alone.

Not complaining...just stating my concerns. Thnx!

I have been following things that mk has done for quite a while, and its always awesome. I appreciate everything you do to make the best sport in the world have a game that can match. If I knew how to do some of this stuff I would love to help you guys, I have a little time on my hands right now, maybe one of you guys could give me a little walk through on private chats or something.

ALL teams have been reviewed with a TON of depth chart and pitching staff updates (worked on this for about 4+ hours today, scouring over each team). 5 new created players added. All teams 100% accurately reflect www.mlbdepthcharts.com projected 25-man rosters.

Note: to our Mariner's friend, I have created Jeremy Bonderman - enjoy using him! Also, some guy at 2K Share is ripping off our rosters as his own (Smoke14rules - I think is his name). There's nothing we can do about this, but he's passing off our work as his own stuff. Frustrating on our end & arrogant on his - I don't believe he's a part of our team here.

Someone else can now take the file - if you have the Reditor, you can add Bretsky's comments from a couple pages ago. Thanks to the team here for all that's being done!! Mike

I plan on snagging 2K13 from the redbox tomorrow to check it out. I'm not sure if anyone else is but i'll gladly post thoughts, opinions, and some videos here if you guys want.

If you could just work on stances and windups that would be ideal.

I have taken care of the transactions - those should be all caught up as I keep a running spread sheet on them. The Red Sox moves noted a page or so ago are done, and I already moved Pryor to the Reds AAA team. So there really shouldn't be anything to be done on the transaction side of things. Thanks for all you do with this!

Regarding Jackie Bradley...

Using milb.com as my research for him, please note this from his Portland 2012 stats:

He hit .293 in 75 at-bats vs. lefties. He hit .260 in 154 at-bats vs. righties. 4 HR's from the left side, and only 2 HR's from the right. But he hit 11 doubles vs. righties and only 5 against lefties.

So I'm not as stupid as my kids say I am...

Is it possible to get John Farrell as Red Sox manager and remove Bobby Valentine? Perhaps we can just delete Bobby V since he's got a sweet AD gig . . . Do we have John Gibbons in the game to replace John Farrell?

I'm currently switching this over to PC and will sim a couple of seasons and play some games to see how it works! If things are ok I'll post it again on 2shared and 2kShare.
