MK - Where do you find the types of pitches a pitcher throws? I have been searching for a couple hours, finding nothing. I did figure out how change cyberfaces to better match actual players faces though!


I also accidentally changed a portrait and didn't know how I did it. But I was wondering if you can import portraits from 2K13 that aren't on 2K12?

MK - I created Brandon Maurer and he is on the AA Jackson Generals. I would like you to look and see if I created him right. I just want to make sure so i can create other Mariner prospects and quit bothering you about them.

Ya that was one of my biggest pet peeves was kimbrel or henry rodriguez having a full windup.
Hell the stupid game gave tyler clippard only a stretch position.

If YOU are happy with him then that's all that matters. We'll do the best we can with this file, but I'd suggest that everyone update their own file with their favorite prospects once the "official opening day file" is done. We simply don't have the ability here to do EVERY prospect, and for YOUR franchise you can make those players for your enjoyment. Thanks!

With all due respect, I answered your private message. In that message I stated that we have ONE working file - one singular file that is being worked on at a time, NOT multiple files. Though we appreciate your work on the Mariners prospects, if you are not working on the MAIN file you are simply doing this work for your OWN benefit. We cannot work on multiple files as it's a waste of time. The main file is NOW in the hands of DCNats - and that was stated clearly a few pages ago.

Please know that I'm not being difficult, but I felt I was clear in my private message to you. If you are happy with your newly created prospects, you do NOT need my approval for them. I am not some wizard behind a curtain, just a guy who is part of this team.

Please accept my apologies if you feel this note is too harsh, but I hope you understand the importance of our working on one singular file so the efforts we make are done in orderly fashion. Thanks!

And I'm not mad or anything, and what your saying makes perfects sense. When I was creating Brandon Maurer I was just seeing how well I could do it myself. I just wanted you too look and see how I did, since you were creating player very accurately. Wasn't try to do make another file.

Just a quick update guys - Will have the file posted up here within a hour or so!

Did a bunch of windups and stances, as well as fixed alot of pitch types and speeds for the teams that had a ton of screwups.

My main source was fangraphs.com. Questions or concerns post here! :P

EDIT I did not get all of the listed teams that had pitch screw ups, my main goal was to get windups and stances down. I completed WSH for the pitch types and speeds. Ratings i'll leave to MK and Bretsky. I wasn't able to get enough time in for all of them, didnt wanna keep the file held up for so long.

March 19th

This is the most updated file with WSH pitch types and speeds corrected, due to time constrants I was not able to get to TOR, PHI, NYY, CLE and whoever else was on the weird list. If need be i'll take it again at a later time and get to it unless MK and Bretsky would like to.

This also has alot of lower name guys stances and windups fixed, I.E Craig Kimbrel among others. If I missed anyone, place your suggestions here for my next run thru. Enjoy!

Thanks to you guys and your hard work. I am just about finished my first season in franchise 1 with the first anticipation 25 roster that was collaborated on.

CAN NOT WAIT, to start my next season with this new roster (or if one is later). The game is playing amazingly.

Had a turning point game today. I play the first game of every series and super sim the remaining. I have a 3 game lead in the AL East in late August.

I yanked Bard in the 5th. He was getting ripped, only gave up 4 runs but allowed 13 hits. Got out of some huge jams!

I'm down 4-2 in the 8th. Due up: Ellsbury, Pedroia, Ortiz, Napoli

Ellsbury, base it up the middle.
Ellsbury PICKED OFF FIRST!!!! His run meant nothing, I took an extra step and got nailed. Deflated.........................
Pedroia, pop out.
Ortiz, SOLO SHOT!!!!!!!!!! (can't believe Ellsbury)
Napoli ground ball to 3rd.

Game OVer. Every game I've played has been this intense, close and fun. Great work gentlemen. I know this is a Season recap but really it is a roster impression.
