Like... Dickey's stats. He had a career year this year. Better than '11. Do you beef up individual pitching stats so he's more effective in-game?

Something I was curious about, Ben/mk, do you guys plan on updating contracts for 2013?

I know this is kind of a stickler thing from me again, but it's gonna be weird if I start a franchise with Josh Hamilton being a FA with the Angels and so on.

        Just wondering about that.

I don't know what Brettsky has done at this point... I think we all need a strong degree of patience, as a LOT has to be done - but it doesn't have to be finalized until Opening Day - so we've got a few months on this project. If anyone is wanting a file tomorrow, you'll be disappointed. The one thing that often kills a thread like this are the proverbial "is the file done yet???" comments. I know some of you guys want more sooner, and you want things completely done yesterday - just hang tight and be patient. I applaud Brettsky for taking on this task - he doesn't have to, so we'll hang tight and see what where he is and what the plans are, and everyone will need to be supportive of that timeline. Thanks.

I'm not sure if you're referring to my question, but I'll assume you are.

That was a random comment if it was. I've been occupied with exams and even other 360 games. Based on what you said though, I'll assume that this is going "all out" and basically going to look like a brand new game as far as the rosters are concerned.

I said it already ... I know it's a bitch to do these rosters, to say the least. It's hard enough DURING the season to do it.

If I was giving the impression of "rushing" then I'm sorry. It'd be stupid to expect anything soon.

              Re: Updated Rosters--- 2k12

Player to be added / created:

              Chris McGuiness - Cleveland Indians
              1B / DH
              Bats: L / Throws: L
              6-1, 210 lbs
              Born: April 11, 1988

Rule V draft pick - will be in competition for MLB roster (possible LH DH / 1B backup). Might be fighting with Mike McDade for a potential MLB roster spot. As a Rule V pick, he either makes the MLB roster or is returned to the team drafted from (Texas) unless a deal could be made so Cleveland could stash him at AAA Columbus. Would appreciate it if you could add him to the Indians roster. Thanks!

              Picture: http://www.abcnews4.com/story/201634...all-league-mvp

I'd put his hitting attributes in the high 50's, with his HR power around 60-61 and his doubles power around 59-60.

              Thanks!

Definatley, this is one of the parts that is taking the longest, but yes. Dickey though is a tough example though becuase he is old and taking a new team so he would probably be anywhere from high 80's to low 90's.

Thanks for the response, Bret. For the NINETIETH TIME ... serious props to you guys for putting in the time for this... the patience as well. The passion. You guys are awesome.

Looking forward to that 2013 roster update. I assume I'll be able to find out how to get the rosters to my console -- doesn't seem to be too difficult.

                    Keep it up, guys!

2K doesn't plan on shutting the MLB servers down for next year, so mkharsh33 will most likely put the rosters on 2kshare. You can get them there. I bet they will be most downloaded at the time.

2K Share is something in-game, correct?

For this project use MLBDepthCharts.com as your reference point. Jason works for Baseball Prospectus now and has a pretty up-to-date knowledge of how opening day rosters will shakeout, prospects, up-to-date transactions, etc.

I provide him with the tools from that site - this project is being developed largely from the resources provided there. Bretsky has all the necessary things needed, so appreciate the response, and know that we're already ahead of you on this.
