Re: Updated Rosters--- 2k12
Awaiting on the Astros roster move before releasing the next file. They only have 24 on their active roster - my guess is they'll bring up a pitcher since they just brought up Laird and also DFA'd a pitcher. Wonder when the Brett Wallace experiment will finally end? 1-24 on the season, and has struck out 70% in his at-bats...
Next update will also include the Borbon pickup by the Cubs... Tons of new edits... Hiram Burgos created for the Brewers rotation as well. As usual, you should be very pleased with the next update... I'll post here when it's up on 2K Share.STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: Updated Rosters--- 2k12
I fixed my first problem of getting the game file into MLB 2k10 format. I used Hex Editor and changed line 00000360 line to read the title for 2k10 and not 2k12. I used Horizon to get the file on my USB and onto my Xbox but now it says my file may be damaged. Any advice here?
Thanks for the replies.Comment

Re: Updated Rosters--- 2k12
Yoervis Medina was called up by the M's. For some reason I wasn't expecting so many changes this early in the season.Last edited by ElSeniorLewLew; 04-19-2013, 11:14 PM.HEAT MARINERS STEELERSComment

Re: Updated Rosters--- 2k12
NEW ROSTER UPLOADED - 2K SHARE
LIVING ROSTER - APRIL 19, 2013
Massive edits
Attribute updates
Injured players in minors
Each team reviewed and noted
All new players created
All MLB teams 100% accurate
NOTE: Astros will only have 24 players. At release time they had not made a decision on which pitcher to call up. If I were to guess, I would say Travis Blackley or Rudy Owens. Neither requires a 40 man roster decision as both are already on it. Houston went one man short for their game against Cleveland Friday night. I'm leaning toward Blackley since he's returning from an injury and was assigned a rehab stint.
Would appreciate it if someone here would be so kind to provide the OFFLINE file for the guys without Live. Thanks, MikeSTEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: Updated Rosters--- 2k12
Quick note on newly created players in this last update:
Hiram Burgos - MIL P
Adam Morgan - PHI P (minors)
Yoervis Medina - SEA P
Recreated Aaron Loup - TOR P
Recreated David Dahl - COL (minors)
Adam Abraham - CLE (minors)
Steven Wright - BOS P (knuckleballer)
Justin Freeman - CIN P
Phil Irwin - PIT P
Michael Roth - ANA P
Carlos Sanchez - CWS (minors)
Bobby LaFromboise - SEA P
Preston Guilmet - CLE P (minors)
Shane Peterson - OAK
Donovan Hand - MIL P
Edited Tony Cingranni - CIN P (kid is gonna be good!)
Some of those players were created prior, and some have since been sent down to the minor leagues. But that is a running list of who has been created since the last REDitor update.
Astros need a pitcher added yet. The White Sox also put Viciedo on the DL, calling up Blake Tekotte.
I hope you're somewhat happy with the attribute edits. It's very hard this part of the season. For instance, some pitchers are struggling (ie. David Price). I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, along with Josh Hamilton (who has had a mediocre start). On the other end of the spectrum, Chris Johnson of Atlanta and Jean Segura of Milwaukee are blistering the ball early on - and have been very consistent. They get a boost for doing so, but I will monitor all players.
Just to let you know: each night I review EVERY box score for EACH game - I have the rosters up on my xbox and this typically takes 45 minutes of so to go over each team. So what you are getting this year is my best and most detailed efforts. If anyone here is wanting to know the effort given on this project, I simply wanted to share that it's a very detailed/tedious work being done.
In my Play Now games, I must admit I'm getting tremendous variety with my sliders. For instance, last night I played the Indians (me) at Astros (cpu) game. I lost 7-3. The funny part was this: Brett Myers gave up 7 RUNS for me in the 2nd inning alone. I had my LR warming up (Kluber) but decided to stick with Myers. He ended up going 7 innings strong, giving up only 8 hits, but that single inning killed me...I couldn't stop HOU's momentum. I could only muster 6 hits.
Today I played tonight's Mariners (cpu) at Rangers (me) game. I won 6-5. Tepesch had a tough time but I was able to get Maurer out in 4 2/3. I had 15 hits and gave up 12. Nelson Cruz was a stud for me going 4-4 (2 2B's and an HR). I almost hit the cycle as my last at-bat was a shot where I rounded 2B, but thought otherwise.
I'm having more fun with this game this year than at any other time... Hope you're enjoying it as well!STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: Updated Rosters--- 2k12
Aha, excellent work as always, mk. Nice to see Adam Morgan got in there for the Phils - he might be an asset later when I start my Phillies 'chise.
I'm very thankful as mentioned that so much work, detail, and thought goes into this - it's the little things that can make the difference. I'm happy your work has made the game fun for yourself and I'm sure for many others! Keep it up man, I appreciate it.Last edited by philliesfan136; 04-20-2013, 02:02 PM.Comment

Re: Updated Rosters--- 2k12
OFFLINE UPDATE:
And this is just something I thought would be cool, and you don't have to do it. But I thought that if you had time you should create Moises Hernandez on the M's just so they can have both of the Hernandez brothers. You really don't have to if you don't want to though.Last edited by ElSeniorLewLew; 04-20-2013, 03:18 PM.HEAT MARINERS STEELERSComment

Damn these rosters and your sliders are so fun MK! I'm currently 3-4 in my Mets franchise and my offense is really struggling. I managed to beat the Marlins to avoid a sweep 3-1 with 2 runs in the 7, Niese had a very good outing. Then I lost to the Phillies in the 10th 5-1 after Rivera hit a walk off Grand Slam. Matt Harvey threw 8 great innings with only 1 ER and 6 Ks but I couldn't score.
Again Great job with these MK!Buffalo Bills

Re: Updated Rosters--- 2k12
MK, just wanted to stop by and thank you (and everyone else involved as well) for your hard work and dedication in making these rosters, and you're the reason why I'm sticking with 2K12 for another year instead of going to 2K13. I'm using your rosters and sliders in my Mets franchise and I'm currently having a blast with them!
Also, sorry to bother you, but do you think you could add Mets pitchers Jack Leathersich, Darin Gorski, and Rafael Montero to the game? Thanks.Comment

Re: Updated Rosters--- 2k12
I try to add the critical AAA players or potential callups first. I read a number of blogs and keep an eye out for those players that are being talked about on a daily basis. The time it takes me to do updates on the major league players is a LOT, so the lower level minor leaguers aren't high on the priority list. Hope you understand...but appreciate the suggestions. I'll see what I can do...STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS
