Quick question. Are your roster players salaries fix too.. like ate they exact? If so does the franchise get screwy cause of it?

I uploaded a new file at 2K Share for MLB 2K13. The pitching depth charts are 100% correct, BUT the name glitch still occurs. If you can live with wrong batters being pronounced, then use this file. If not, then move right along as there's nothing to see here.

Did you upload it to page 1 of this thread as well mkharsh? Any work you do on MLB2K13 is greatly appreciated! I've been using your (and tvman) roster for 2K13 that you released earlier and while it's not perfect because of the wrong names being called out, it's WAY better than the default roster. Thanks again!

          Re: MLB 2K13 - 360 REDitor file (from 2K12)

I will put an offline link up here later today (I'm at the office right now). I didn't know if there would be much interest... It is the latest 2K12 roster from the REDitor edits that's ported into 2K13. Some faces are updates - seems random. The major issue is when a guy is batting he is called the WRONG name - not always, but often enough that it does get a bit frustrating. But this roster file has a TON of updates to it, as we've done for 2K12. It's a nice alternative to what is available at 2K Share, which isn't a whole lot yet. But I'm not going to start a 2K13 roster - this will be it. I might add a few more prospects, and possibly update the transactions, but not sure at this point. Just simply offering this for the community to enjoy.

Also, check my sliders... I've found the 25 anticipation attribute changes to have NO BEARING on how it plays. Very smooth. I simply upped IF speed to 5 and OF speed to 25 - seems perfect.

ARe you talking about 2k12 or 2k13 that you've moved away from anticipation at 25?

Not sure what you mean. This roster has the same 25 anticipation attributes updated and plays perfect. Maybe my post wasn't clear, but I have NOT moved away from it. Just was saying it had no bearing on how the game played, as we weren't sure how it would work in 2K13. No changes needed... Sorry if I wasn't clear!

OFFLINE LINK now uploaded on page 1 - post 1... As stated above, the names will not be called right for a number of players while they are batting, but this file is solid. Realize it's a ported 2K12 file...for 2K13.

Thanks again for your hard work on this file update mkharsh33! Always look forward to your slider settings and updates.

The wrong name being announced on some batters doesn't really bother me so I will use this file for 2K13.

Hey mk. I've been using your rosters for years, and they're always great. I usually play sports games with either music or no sound so the the names being called wrong will not affect me at all. Thanks a lot to you and everyone else who has worked on this roster for getting it to work in 13.

I only have one question. Y'all were saying something about the faces being switched; how prevalent is that?

The face updates are a good thing. For example, Bryce Harper will have his real 2013 face in the game. I also noticed Josh Harrison of Pittsburgh was updated. So it's not many and appears to be random, but I have not found any example of bad switches.

The problem with this file is when you or the cpu is batting. The announcers will call them by the wrong name. Not everyone, but a good number of players. When the screen shot is shown of them pre-at bat that's the real person. The stats and everything are fine, it's just the audio. I haven't heard any mix-ups for the fielders, but have heard the audio speak of the wrong pitcher.

I also noticed the two switchups for the minor league teams for the Mets & Blue Jays are incorrect as well.

So, you can either try to find a file on 2K13 that suits your needs. I have not. I've reviewed about 20 of them and there's not much out there. Some person with the gamertag "mlakar" (or something close to this) probably has the best 13 file available. But I'm not sure I agree with his edits for the attributes.

Or you can use the one I posted, knowing there are some glitches involved. But I'm not starting over from scratch as I think I'll be spending more time playing 2K12. Hope this helps...

mkharsh33: I posted about this one issue on the main forum, but haven't gotten any responses for it yet, so I was hoping maybe you would know this. I downloaded an OS 2k13 roster yesterday from 2K share and it saved to my harddrive. So I go to load the OS roster and it said successfully loaded. However, when I back out to the home menu, it will always check the server for the default 2k roster and instead use that roster. Do you know how I can use the OS roster for online play? It seems like it is ok when I use this roster for offline play since it doesn't check it against the 2K server.

                        Any ideas or suggestions?

Do you have the automatic rosters and auto save turned OFF in your settings preferences??

No, both are set to ON. Should it be set to OFF instead?

You only need to turn OFF Living Roster, if you want the game to auto save. If you don't want auto save then turn it OFF also

Oh ok. I will try turning OFF the Living Roster and keep the Autosave on.
