I love the rosters, but I can't deal with commentary screwing up the names

The problem with this file is when you or the cpu is batting. The announcers will call them by the wrong name. Not everyone, but a good number of players. When the screen shot is shown of them pre-at bat that's the real person. The stats and everything are fine, it's just the audio. I haven't heard any mix-ups for the fielders, but have heard the audio speak of the wrong pitcher.

I also noticed the two switchups for the minor league teams for the Mets & Blue Jays are incorrect as well.

So, you can either try to find a file on 2K13 that suits your needs. I have not. I've reviewed about 20 of them and there's not much out there. Some person with the gamertag "mlakar" (or something close to this) probably has the best 13 file available. But I'm not sure I agree with his edits for the attributes.

Or you can use the one I posted, knowing there are some glitches involved. But I'm not starting over from scratch as I think I'll be spending more time playing 2K12. Hope this helps...

I completely understand you not wanting to undertake the rosters this year. You've done such a great job with them in the past you've earned a year off lol.

About the faces, I thought I remembered someone saying that a few people's faces were switched also, but if you haven't really noticed it then it must not be a big problem, if at all.

And this roster will suit me just fine since the glitch is audio only. I'll mostly be listening to music or TV while I play anyways.

Yeah, that's a killer for me too, which is why I'm done with this. I keep having to stop the game & review the batting order, which really takes away a HUGE aspect of the game. That file was it, and this game is probably going back as credit... We tried...

mkharsh, I also really appreciate the work you did for 2K13. I can deal with a few names being wrongly called during a game in exchange for the realism of the overall game any day.

Since you're done supporting 2K13, would you mind leaving us some instructions on how you converted the roster so that we may continue to use your awesome rosters in the future?

tvman provided that file. What I had to do was VERY time consuming: I had to go through each pitching staff for each team. If you drop a guy to the minors and then recall him you could see the missing pitchers. BUT, the entire depth chart was an absolute mess. Also, any starting pitcher that showed up on the reliever side had to be dropped and then brought back up from the minors. It took me over an hour to do all this, and I feel like it was a waste of time. It will probably have to be done each time, so I'm not messing with it anymore. Again, I'm sticking with 2K12 as I think that's where many of us here will probably end up at. The work we've done with the rosters is simply amazing, with countless hours (or probably countless months) put into it. To start over again, with all the glitches in this file, takes more away from the fun of the game than it provides. Maybe you could start with a file that's already uploaded for 2K13 (some guy named mlakar???) has one that is a nice base. I don't want to let anyone down, but I'm committed to our team that is working on 2K12. I know I've wavered, but I've made up my mind... Sorry for those let down by this. But maybe a new team will arise for 13.

I guess I should have been more specific.... Do you know how tvman converted your 2K12 rosters into 2K13 rosters? THAT'S what I'm really wanting to find out.

I used reditor (full version) and copy pasted from 2k13 roster file into a 2k12 roster file. I don't own 2k13 so I can't even start to fix this roster, if it even is fixable.

Ok, I turned off the living rosters last night and kept the autosave on. Now it works fine and I can use the OS roster instead.

I was wondering if I could get the roster editor to create my own rosters. I have a little experience, and I have one from 2k12 but it doesn't work for the 2k13 xbox 360 roster saves.

I don't have MLB2k12 the game or a roster, I do have MLB2k13. I have a roster for MLB2k13 and the full Xbox 360 game.
