Hello. I'm a newb at this (but really admire the time and dedication it must take for a project like this), but I'm wondering how this works? How does one acquire said awesome 2014 rosters? Sorry if I overlooked it but I didn't see initial instructions. Thanks in advance.

search here at OS or google this or youtube it. there are many explanations on the programs you need and the steps to take. hopefully you have an xbox live account, and if so, it's as simple as finding them using 2k share. offline is a bit more difficult, but there are numerous tutorials that explain things if you search them out.

First off thanks for all the hard work and the what im guessing is a taxing process at time, i appreciate it! Second the bias cub fan in me is screaming at the 62OVR that Javy Biaz got. He should be better then Kris Bryant by at least a bit, He has 40 homer power and 20 steal speed. Sorry i just got irked at that..being a Cubs fan i need at the positives i can get from baseball haha

Not sure what file you have, but I know I've given Baez a significant boost in a more recent upload.

Just a quick FYI: I received a direct email from 2Shared (the host of this file) that someone has filed a complaint and this link has been taken down. States that someone claims I stole their work and this file is copyright infringement.

I don't know who would do that, and it sounds like someone may be visiting here and trying to put a stop to these files. I've had issues on 2K Share where people are stealing the work we are doing, reposting files, and then trying to claim that it's ME who stealing the work.

If this kind of selfishness and stupidity continues, sorry, but I will no longer provide files.

I'll have to post another offline link, so hang tight and be patient and I'll provide a new one with a few more updates (Nelson Cruz signed with Baltimore just this morning).

If this happens again, sorry, but this project will no longer continue. I do this for fun, not to put up with crap like this. When it's no longer fun, I no longer do it - it's that simple. Thanks for the understanding.

(And if someone here reported the file, could you please man-up and explain why you would try to sabotage this project)...

i had the same problem with a madden file i posted about someone saying i stole their work its really frustrating but yea man keep doing what ur doing, youre a legend and anyone who knos u knos ur the one doing these and hav no reason to steal anyones work its prolly someone whos file isnt getting any attention and their trying to mess u up, my thing is if ur the man and put out better work well than awesome ill let u do the better job and move onto a different project, but anyway i hope u continue to do these im thinking of gettin rid of mlb the show for this

I hear you. YOu put in too much time for that junk. Sucks that, as my late father would say, "it's always something".

He was right. I say you keep on truckin' as you enjoy doing this. Can you just upload the offline updates here and take 2shared out of the mix totally?

Shoot, I have an old team website from the old high school I used to coach and I am sure I could upload there for you and use that as a host.

Keep having fun, know how much we enjoy and appreciate your work and don't let the dinks get ya.

(FYI, played a game today, 3-3 in the 10th inning and then I ripped for 5 runs in the top of the 10th, they loaded bases with 1 out in bottom 10, I closed it out with a diving catch by Ellsbury! Amazing game by an amazing game)

Just saw this thread and downloaded the latest roster as I have a itch for some baseball. It looks great. I lost 8 to 1 as I'm rusty at the game, but can't wait to get into it. Great work.

Another forum used to keep MVP 2005 Baseball alive by modding updates to rosters and schedules every year. Maybe they still do. But without updating the 2014 season schedule for MLB 2K 2013, what good is updating the rosters? Because I live in a suburb of Chicago, I used to switch back and forth between playing the Cubs season, and the White Sox season, every year that 2K came out with the next year's baseball for the XBOX 360. I would like to continue to do that, even though 2K's baseball is no more. Isn't anyone going to come up with a mod to update the schedule? I see no point in hoping 2K 2013 Baseball can be kept alive, just by updating rosters, without updating schedules as well. I haven't even seen anyone ask about that on this forum! For what it's worth, I downloaded the latest roster update dated February 23, 2014 on 2Kshare today, and it doesn't come close to matching the 2014 Chicago White Sox's actual roster. So again, what is the point of this forum?

If you don't appreciate someone's countless unpaid hours spent creating a roster for a small community that enjoys the game and appreciates each other, then by all means feel free not to use the latest from 2kshare.

Feel free to purchase the Reditor and you spend the time to update the schedule for the 360 for the community. Just know you're talking hours and hours not to mention using the Reditor can also mess up your roster.

Instead of saying, "what is the point of this forum" and complaining that the 2014 schedule isn't in the roster. How about saying, I'd gladly help create the 2014 schedule. That is the real point of this forum, assistance and collaboration not griping.
