Another forum used to keep MVP 2005 Baseball alive by modding updates to rosters and schedules every year. Maybe they still do. But without updating the 2014 season schedule for MLB 2K 2013, what good is updating the rosters? Because I live in a suburb of Chicago, I used to switch back and forth between playing the Cubs season, and the White Sox season, every year that 2K came out with the next year's baseball for the XBOX 360. I would like to continue to do that, even though 2K's baseball is no more. Isn't anyone going to come up with a mod to update the schedule? I see no point in hoping 2K 2013 Baseball can be kept alive, just by updating rosters, without updating schedules as well. I haven't even seen anyone ask about that on this forum! For what it's worth, I downloaded the latest roster update dated February 23, 2014 on 2Kshare today, and it doesn't come close to matching the 2014 Chicago White Sox's actual roster. So again, what is the point of this forum?

Modding for consoles isn't the same as PC and even with the ReEditor, there has been problems with updating the schedule for the 360. It works, but messes other things up.

This forum is called MLB 2K Rosters and it's for people who want updated rosters. If you aren't happy with the ones provided (which are free) then I suggest you start your own project.

MkH..... There are plenty of other places to upload mate. Don't let those bad baseballs ruin it for ya!

So again, what is the point of this forum?

2. If you have a 360, 2k12 is the best game to play. And if you enjoy playing the game, having updated rosters is amazing. But these updates just dont happen with a click of a mouse. It takes alot of work and time to get everything updated!!
   
3. Spring training only just started! The starting rosters are hardly set in stone. And spring training rosters sometimes never reflect opening day! There are still a buttload of trades and signings left.

Not trying to razz you man...just keep in mind how much work actually goes in to this!

So if we liked the series, and we bought MLB 2K 2013, we'd have to back track and buy MLB 2K 2012, just to download supposed updated rosters only. With no 2014 schedule. It doesn't seem like much to pat anyone on the back about, with all the indignant comments about how grateful fans of MLB 2K Baseball should be, for what seems a half hearted attempt to keep the game alive.

I dunno man, I've been playing this game since 2011 without updated schedules, so it's not really a big deal to me.

And I actually enjoy playing 12 over 13, so.... And it sounds like you're mad at 2k sports for stopping their support. You shouldn't be mad at us.

If you want one so bad, why don't you sit in front of redditor for hours on end and test one yourself?

Besides, this is a roster thread anyways, not about schedules. Lets not be immature or inconsiderate and block up MKH's thread with this crap

Exactly. Instead of complaining and knocking someone's work why not be part of a solution instead of just a random voice. Guessing you just want a hand out and not actually volunteer to put in hundreds of hours.

Now, back to using this thread for its purpose, MK rosters for appreciative 2k players.

Hey guys, let's officially put this squabble to bed and move on. I'm still working on the file. No new uploads lately because the movement has been minimal (Elmore to OAK minors, Cleto to CWS minors, and maybe one or two more non-important moves).

I was messaging back and forth with some guy who recently uploaded a file to 2K Share - Ephoz or something like that. Again, it's our stolen work. I was polite and told him that out of kindness he should note that our file is his base work. Never replied. No biggy...

Regarding OwenMarshall (previous page) who said the White Sox roster is a mess... I'm a bit baffled by this. I use www.mlbdepthcharts.com for all my work. Along with a transaction site, and www.mlbtraderumors.com (which is gold!). I combed through 40+ pages of minor league transactions. So I don't get the comment.

The White Sox are projected to have a lineup of:
CF - Eaton, LF (platoon) - De Aza vs. righties / Viciedo vs. lefties, 1B - Abreu (newcomer from Cuba), DH (platoon) - Dunn vs. righties / Konerko vs. lefties (Konerko is probably on his last contract), RF - Garcia, SS - Ramirez, 2B - Beckham, 3B - Davidson (newcomer from AZ trade), and C - Flowers.

Bench would be guessed as: Nieto (Rule 5 pick - catcher) and Jeff Keppinger. I would guess Leury Garcia is in the mix, but I doubt he beats out Keppinger.

Pitching staff:

Starters: Chris Sale, Jose Quintana, John Danks, Erik Johnson and Felipe Paulino. (Eric Surkamp and Andre Rienzo in the mix).

Bullpen (projected): LR: Charles Leesman, MR: Scott Downs, Mitchell Boggs and Donnie Veal, SU: Matt Lindstrom & Ronald Belisario, CL: Nathan Jones

So to OwenMarshall, who said I made the white sox roster look nothing like it should, please refute what I've just posted here as this is the "projected 25 man roster" I've put together for them based on what I'm reading. Thanks.

I bought and played 2K Baseball every year it came out for the XBOX 360. I traded in the year before's game to get what little money a GameStop would give for it. I thought the game was great! Never understood all the negative reviews of the game on the net. I mastered pitching more than hitting, (result, alot of exciting low scoring pitcher's duels)but always got a great game out of the computer opponents playing each year's season. The game had great atmosphere with the announcers as well! I guess Im just expressing my frustration that there is some support for the 2K series, but not enough to care about updating the schedule. In my unshakable opinion, updated rosters without an updated season schedule is like tits on a boar, useless! There isn't even any logic to it. Believe me when I say, if I had the computer knowledge and saavy, I would gladly update the schedule myself. You can't simulate playing your favorite team's 2014 season, without a 2014 schedule. It's just hard to believe I'm the only one to see it that way.
If anyone knows of another link to a place where somebody is updating the rosters and schedule for last year's 2K MLB 2013, I'd love to hear about it. Otherwise, I guess I'll have to settle for digressing to play a leap backwards in video game technology time, by playing whatever primitive Commodore 64 looking arcade game RBI Baseball is going to be.

Its not that no one wants to... But everyone that has tried has the same problem.

The scheduele updates end up messing the franchise, roster, and my player parts with the game, making it a lost cause basically.
