Re: MLB 2K13 PS3 Updated Rosters

In all honesty, I haven't even picked this up since the end of July. I just haven't had the extra time to work on this.

I will see about reposting the latest roster file that I have, as it would appear that the existing one isn't working properly for some people.

I am going to try and squeeze in some time later on today to make any important roster moves since the last time I worked on the file, which was August 8th.

If I can get everything done, I will try and upload a new file for anyone who is interested.

One problem that a while back when the servers were still online was the Living Rosters. It you turned them off, even with the servers being down, it should help with the issue.

Re: MLB 2K13 PS3 Updated Rosters

            The day has finally arrived!

I got off my lazy butt and made some updates! (Translation: I finally took a break from Super Mega Baseball for an hour or so)

The roster is updated up to the Mariners and Rays trade from last week.

There is a good chance that I don't have all of the minor roster moves, so some players may not be at the correct level, but at least they should be on the correct teams.

            Let me know your thoughts.

I am very excited about this. This is the only game I play anymore but I figured it had been given up on. Do you guys know of a tutorial of how to put them in the game. Thanks so much. Best sports video game ever.

Hey CKG.... sorry to see that the NHL updates went on the back burner, but I see you've been busy with this game and much appreciated. I'm about to get a copy of this game to try it again for the PS3, though my first love is MVP on the PC (with mods of course).

Was just wondering with the resigner, in the step where it says:

                      ===>>Adding Profiles
-Copy one of your saves onto a USB from your PS3.<===

When it is talking about "one of your saves", to what is it referring? I'm thinking a profile that you set up with the MLB 2K13 game itself?

If I remember correctly, they are asking you to create a profile using the data from your PS3, so that the information is correct for the resign.

Ok..got it. Spacebooger's link and explanation in post #5 is infinitely better than the other link with KG's tutorial (I don't trust anyone using goth font )

Just to clarify, you can create and then use a roster from the default rosters. I simply named mine "default" and then transferred that to my USB stick. I think what's confusing is that in the resigner and in these explanations they keep referring to "profile". This has nothing to do with the MLB's game profile. Using the default roster works just fine.

So simply save a roster default file and then transfer to your USB stick. In the last step, spacebooger indicates you need to click on "resign" to the left. Minor correct...click on "Resign" button at the bottom of the program's window before you copy it to your USB stick.

When you then load this into the game, it takes slight longer and may delay, but it works.

                          Thanks much guys!

                            Good afternoon all,

I have attached my roster file, with the most up-to-date trades and transactions, as I could possibly do.

There are going to me some minor leaguers missing, but the MLB teams should be accurate. If there is anything missing, please make those adjustments yourself.

Trust me, in moving forward I would focus on the MLB teams. Putting all that effort into the minor leagues and making sure AAA and AA are correct is thankless, plus they shift guys all the time. When I do MVP rosters, I only deal with accuracy for MLB teams. I do do attribute tweaks as well, but I have an editor. This game is a struggle to do rosters within the game itself.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I never even though of looking back past 30 days for these. I figured 2k13 was dead on the PS3 to roster creators. This has saved me many hours of updating. The latest rosters I had were from 2014.

I agree to focus on the MLB and not worry about the minors. What I had started doing before I found these was to lower the ratings of retired players and assign to minors teams to make sure they had enough spots filled.
