I've been so busy I haven't had chance to mess with the tendencies. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow morning I can play around. Just had the same thing happen with me. Guy had 4 pitches but after the 10th pitch of the inning all 4 were red.

shogunofharlem3 I think something else is at play here to. I was thinking it might be the inside edge reports the players have. PM if you would like to test something out.

I remember reading a long time back that if one removes the pitcher who's pitches go red like that then recreate him the problem goes away. Might be worth a shot. This was an issue out of the box with 2k's own roster.

We need to compile a list of pitchers weve experienced this with, if anyone finds a pitcher with this issue message me who it is so when we find a fix we have a list

Colon is a perfect example. He throws upwards of 80% fast balls. Unless you add another pitch you have to keep throwing the red pitch out of the zone and hope the CPU chases.

Here are Colon's pitch tendency's:
P1Tend 81
P2Tend 10
P3Tend 7
P4Tend 2

So looking at that it, all pitchers' tendencies add up to a 100. Assuming my assumption is close, we can't throw Colon's 4th pitch more than 2 times in a 100 pitch game, 2%.

I'm going to load up now and see how many fastballs he can throw before turning red.

JMC, that is an interesting thought that Inside Edge has an effect on this too. I think we're on to something here. Because Colon's Inside Edge only shows that he has 3 pitch types. But the Reditor shows 4. Interesting!

4 pitches then red. No overthrows all on the money no max effort.

Threw 1 slider then the fast ball went right back to green. Threw 4 more FB and the FB went to red.

I think I see the pattern but it might have something to do with Colon's tendencies. 2nd inning FB starts on red throw 1 slider the FB goes right back to green.

There goes that theory. Mixed slider and two seam this time it took 9 pitches before the FB totally refreshed.

Reditor shows 4 seam 2 seam. Inside edge shows fastball. I figured that out after doing a little research earlier.

Don't see the pics anymore. Are these updated players with new hair styles going to be in the roster update?

Nope. I am talking about the pics that were posted of McCutcheon with short hair like the way he wears it now. In the latest update of a couple of days ago he still had the old hair style.

Yes this will be in the next update. Their the same player models, but with the long hair hidden. It's like an optical illusion the long hair looks invisible, but you can still see the shadow of the hair on the player models shoulders.

Has anyone noticed that when the CPU gets the cutoff, the cutoff man stands there and just juggles the ball sometimes? Does anyone know how to make them stop this?
