Played another game. Bumped base runner speed up to 5.

Re: 2017 Roster-MLB 2K13 (360)
What I did love about that play was the outfielder took a nice route to a ball in the gap, cur it off before it got to the wall, planted and threw a strike to 2nd base. And it wasn't a frozen rope. This throw resembled what we would likely see in the MLB, a solid one hopper from deep right center. I haven't checked Powell's arm strength, but Segura's speed is actually only 84, and maybe it should be a touch higher.
I like the fact that I can see a play by an outfielder making a great throw with OF throw power only at 40!
Thanks for the feedback!

OK. One of the problems as has been stated before by vets of the series is that the slider values are only in increments of 5.Comment

This is a similar play. OF makes a bit stronger throw but wasn't quite as deep in the gap.

Re: 2017 Roster-MLB 2K13 (360)
Has anyone had a chance to play a game with the Range edited roster yet? I am loving what I am seeing with gameplay. I haven't seen any of the ridiculous snared line drives that I was seeing before. I have posted several more gameplay videos in my thread in the main MLB2K forum. Check it out, I am continuing to work on my sliders and post results there as well.

Well, I just received my key for the Reditor II! I am ready to rock and roll now. I have a couple days transactions to do on the in game side of it. Now, I'll be able to modify a lot more stuff and can hopefully help out on the continuing of this roster.

Also seeing a realistic number of bloop hits. I really like that.

Good stuff! Not sure what kind of sliders you are using, but the combination I have had with 80 pitch speed and this addition to a lowered range really makes it feel more realistic. Not every ball is a rocket somewhere. I love seeing the softer hit balls that fall in.

So what I'd suggest is STARTING WITH THE 2018 ROSTER - make your universal edits to the roster, and then come up with a slider set that works for this roster set - and just do this moving forward. We can't really go back and fix every previous roster set - or at the very least I'd hate to put that on someone. I don't have any editing tools - everything I've done is manually, and it takes a TON of TIME that I simply do not have.
Appreciate all of this - haven't had time to play lately, but I'm following the comments posted here. Thanks!!STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: 2017 Roster-MLB 2K13 (360)
Do you have a thread with your newest sliders? And if not, I'd suggest creating one. What you are speaking of is what we are all wanting with this game, because it's the biggest issue: the ball is always like a rocket.

Yes, I have a thread with my latest sliders here. However, I probably need to start a thread in the sliders sectionas well so that people can find them there as well. On that page I have a few versions of sliders throughout. Page 1 has my basic setup and the main version of sliders I am working with. The next version is a random dice roll version of sliders to give each game it's own dynamic feel! My thread is in the main MLB2K section because what I was posting was all encompassing!
I have continued to follow transactions in my version of the 2018 file. By my version, I mean, taking off from your last 2017 file you posted mk. What I did in that file--is do my pitch tendency edit to James Paxton (and I am sure there are more pitchers out there that need this fix!) and keep up with the transactions from were you left off. I made a few changes to appearances to some of my Mariner players(Ben Gamel-long hair and beard!). Also, in this version I have made the RANGE attribute(-25 across the board) edit. I have a version that I have not done any changes to (only the transactions) as well. I am just 2 weeks behind on transactions in that one though.
In no way, shape, or form, do I want to take any credit away from what you guys have done with this roster here! I have just jumped in and continued on my own from the Final 2017 roster for my own purposes and I would love to share and add and help along with this next year's version.
I think I can pretty easily make the range edit to older rosters as well. I have posted iin my thread here my most recent version of the roster. This is a work in progress and for testing purposes and by no means a roster that adheres to the standards of what you all have put out here. What I have had to do is move a bunch of 1-star FA players on to teams in order to release the correct players and move the players onto their correct teams. As I have been playing games I try to adjust so that those teams have a full 25-man roster at MLB level to play against. But even that is changing daily!
I have some ideas for this next roster and am excited to help out and share going forward! Oh and by the way, I played a game with Ohtani signed with the Mariners before I can have that dream bubble popped in my face! LOL.
I'll continue to post updates, and hope to continue to get feeedback. Thanks a million for this community!
