FYI... No one never needs my permission to enhance this roster. I know jmc feels the same. We did this as a labor of love, where there would be ONE file - always FREE. And we have no egos, so just grab it and make it as best as possible. The only important thing is COMMUNICATION - so guys aren't wasting efforts. I'm not in the loop now, but jmc is - and just make sure you guys are communicating on what is being done. Just makes your lives easier, and speeds up the process so there's no wasted efforts. Thanks again!

I will wait on jmc to update his next installation. We all should then as ive stated im not familar with everyones team so i need any players missing thats no 1. After all the numbers, pos, and players are set then ill update this roster when a release comes out besides the original game roster as it has no openingday updates yet. After that ill go in and adjust the minors so dont get bent out of shape. Its a process and im back working so its gonna take some time unfortunately.

The show will be dropping a update on the 21st. After which ill go to work on updating ratings and progress through the roster as season goes.

Id really like some volunteers for some help before then?

I can help with the Brewers, I won't follow the shows ratings though, but I won't overrate anyone either.

Huge thanks for uploading the rosters, but I'm new to Horizon and have a question. When I try to open the file with the new rosters to get the IDs, it says it's the incorrect type of file. So my question is, how do I open the file to copy and paste the IDs into the other folder? Any help would be much appreciated!

Save a default roster for that info. Pull it into horizon to get id info. Drag new file in and paste new ids rehash resign, then save should be good to go

Hi. By the way, thanks a lot to everyone who helped to make these rosters. From what I've heard, this sounds like a great idea. I have played 2k13 for a while on the xbox 360 now with outdated rosters and thought that this could be a great solution. However, I am an absolute noob at this and have never gotten a roster off of operation sports. Could someone tell me how to get the rosters onto my xbox 360 step by step in very basic terms so that I could use these in the game? Are there any programs or software that I need to download onto my computer? Also, are these rosters meant for xbox 360 or pc?

360 you will need to transfer your gamertag to the usb ur using to download makes getting your id#'s easier.

Download file from page 1. Download horizon (dont click to accept the ads at the end of download) drag file into the horizon program, should have zeros in the profile and console ids. Save a default roster file to extract the numbers you need and copy paste them on the new file, rehash resign and then save and they should work fine. Goodluck there are video tutorials if you have any problems.

The reason i want to do the new ratings is because it makes actual updates easily transferable and the game has a living roster. Then i would be able to use the info for what AAA players it has and then the scouting reports and overalls will be accurate for prospects and draft picks, then i can try an get actual pitch speeds and dabble so even a young arm can dazzle, but that really only applies in franchise mode not a play now sense.

That everyday pro roster for play now will not be effected much by the mlb 17 update, it will just clean up any players who signed that have the same Con and Hr and small things like that but also balance out the younger players on the roster in contrast to the MLB players and AAA.

Remember 4 seasons have passed and players ratings have changed. For instance Miller is ranked 96 in 17 and what 92 in 16? In the original roster for 13 he was 79 with still erradic control. Now if you look from a team stand point.... That makes Cleveland a higher rated team with 4 points added from last year to this year. You dont think Chapman doesn't effect the cubs, and now the yankees Ovr? Cubs are still good but lost lots of pieces. The Bo soxs are well improved but are not the best team in the game and as present they are rated the best in this game. Price im sure will be in the 80-87 range as he had a bad year last year.

These are things that i notice. But im thinking of how to best utilize whats out there till xbox 1 gets their baseball **** together!

Thanks everyone again for all of their hard work keeping baseball alive for some of us Xbox only guys. This game is fun for sure and having current rosters are an added bonus.
