Updated career stats are nice do you have to get rid of it?

I agree with you. It's nice having those career stats to be updated. Hope this part can stay in the roster file for franchise usage. Thanks.

For the guys working on the other roster file - I added two players that will be part of the next uploaded file - both of these players have the possibility to be part of projected 25 Opening Day...

- MIA - middle infielder Peter Mooney
- BAL - pitcher Pedro Araujo

I've been tweaking some things I'm reading regarding Spring Training news & notes. Profar (TEX), for example - the left field experiment is over as Rangers officials stated he will be only used as a reserve infielder, so I lowered his left field rating back down to the default 25 setting. I've fixed a number of pitching motions as I've watched quite a few videos (can't recall all of them as I don't write down notes when I work on the file - too exhausting of a procedure). As stated, the file that I'm providing is for play now / exhibition games with many added players that provide for realism of transactions of callups/send downs over the course of the season. Also, the latest injured players are noted and will be at "A Level" in the minors for each team.

The next update for the file that I'M providing will be an "official opening day" one with all correct 25-man rosters. Injured players will be placed at the A-Level minor league team. I'm still tracking everything as we inch closer to the start of REAL baseball!

Well the reviews for RBI 18 are not looking good for Xbox lol. I mean just read the first couple, its glitches and still looks like the same crapy 8 bit POS released years ago with some minor upgrades.

No i didnt waste my money on it, i simply read the reviews and passed on it.

I urge everyone to pass on buying RBI 18 and have anyone you know who likes baseball to vote or tweet Phil Spencer of Xbox and tell him this is complete disrespect to the baseball fans on Xbox period!

MK Harsh, thank you for all of the hard work. You and the other people who have worked on updating not just rosters but performance sliders have continued to make this game great. It is the ONLY reason I keep my 360.

I understand your limitations and that another file is being developed for Franchise mode, but I do have two quick questions so i better understand the 3/10 roster update I am using.

1/ As far as performance stats, did you adjust just key players from each team or anticipated 25 man roster? I'm a Yankee fan and noticed this is the first year that we have his correct pitch repertoire (Cutter; Slider; Sinker; Changeup). Outstanding! haven't played enough games to get an idea of how many players were updated.

2/ This isn't a criticism, just want to understand. Did you adjust performance for free agents?

3/ I have tried your suggested sliders through about 8 spring training games and I have had to tone down the Contact/Power on the CPU. Opponents are hitting .320 and crushing HR's (21 so far). Have you any tweaks to your slider suggestions since you posted last?

Thank you again for all of your hard work. It is a freakin' travesty that XBox gamers don't have a decent MLB game to play. I almost threw in the towel this year and went PS4 for The Show...but I just couldn't do it.

MKHARSH you are the KING! Thank you SO much for all your hard work. Makes baseball season feel so much more alive now that I can play a good MLB video game again.

I just wanted to leave some notes for you on some things I noticed while playing:

1) In Franchise mode some players already have stats even before the season starts.

2) Every player has 25 rating for anticipation. Was that to combat the players from magically getting to balls hit that they shouldn't?

3) Jake Arrietta to the Phillies, Alex Cobb to the Orioles.

4) I was wondering if anyone knew how to change player positions. For example I drafted Anthony Rizzo and then Bellinger was on the board but as a first baseman but I wanted him to be my RF but the position is greyed out when I try to edit a player.

5) Just wanted to say you nailed the batting stances for the created players.

Here is the thread for the anticipation edit. Exactly what your guess was, slows them down from knowing where the ball will go before the ball is hit. Makes the range attribute more effective without that head start cheat.

That led to the -25 range attribute edit that is present as well I believe. Now, balls get over outfielders heads, bloop hits over the infielders. Better have a good defense out there now!

I haven't been on here in a few days but the file i'm developing is still progressing. We recently moved into a brand new home - we lived with a family for several months. I have the internet / cable guy coming this morning. As usual, they look to be showing up 30 seconds before their 4-hour window...

Greetings, I thank you again for the great effort you have made with this roster, very realistic and allowing this great passion for baseball to be alive, I really like it.

Another thing I want to know, where I could get cyberfaces for this game and how I could include it to this roster, and this is my personal taste, for example I would like to find a more similar cyberface for Gary Sanchez and others, I come back and repeat this great roster, this of the cyebrfaces is only for my tastes, thank you.

Download one of many editing software like reditor and then you can manipulate what ever you want but any name changes in game will mess up the file so only edit names in reditor

Go to PAGE 1 - POST #1 for all the information and the LINK to the file.

NOTE: these are for "play now / exhibition" mode as I do NOT recommend using them in Season Mode due to freezing issues.

(Hopefully the other team of guys with jmc will provide that kind of file for you).

- most important player added to this file is KC Royals pitcher Tim Hill.

All teams have 100% accurate official opening day rosters, with updated jersey numbers (I researched pretty hard and believe I found most all of them).
