To make the PC swing and miss at some pitches or even a strikeout??? PC either gets a hit EVERY at bat or hits a huge HR...

What Sliders needs to be adjusted?

Why don't you lower the AI Skill slider and then maybe, I don't know, contact and power?

This is really frustrating me. I'm testing this out with a high strikeout person like Pedro and the AI doesn't even swing and miss. The AI is the TB DevilRays

lower there rating for contact and power (i am playing on the hardest level and its set at 90 for each which is ungodly) also to get them to swing at more pitches adjust their take skrike and take ball slider options.

personally i just lowered their contact to 60 and their power to 60 and won the first three games against the Cubs (i am the Reds). won the first game by 2, shut them out in the second game like 8-0, and then came back to win 6-4 in 10 innings in the third game.

I have no problem with winning, but how many strikeouts did you have against the AI in those games??? The AI never swings and misses

This is easily done Chappy. Made some changes last night and it completely turned around the situation. I can't remember what I changed as I'm at work right now, but I'll let ya know.

Thanks... I was able to lower the AI contact,and now I'm getting about 5-8 k's a game... What needs to be addresses now is havin the AI throw more balls out of the zone in different counts. I'm seeing alot of strikes. Again sliders will take care of this.

I just switched from Analog stick batting to Classic Control. Seems easier to hit. But I think User Power needs to be adjusted. Too many Hr's

Can these be done? I thought the sliders worked in increments of 5?

You may be right JT. My 360 is @ repair. Those settings were from my 2k6 Sliders. If it is by increments of 5. I would say:

AI Throw Stikes Overall: 35
AI Throw Strikes Ahead:20
AI Throw Stikes Behind: 30

Maybe it will be a good idea to get sliders for pitching done then work on the next area until all areas are covered. That way we can have a "work in progress" sliders.

I experience the same power as the user. I am working on Pro and I lowered the contact by -1 and power -3. I was giving up way too many homeruns. I found that whenever I did that the AI still got hits, but they resulted in pop flys and warning track blisters.

I also knocked down the AI skill level and I am averaging 2-3 more strike outs a game. That sounds about average to me.

I also have knock down my power too. Whenever Pujols, Rolen, and Edmonds each hit homeruns in an inning, I knew the power was to high.

I may bump myself up to All Star.

The sliders that I worked with were in increments of 5.

It also seems to be that the CPU paint corners slider shouldn't be too high.
