    Step Slider

Can someone tell me what this is? It may be in the manual but I'm at work right now. Thanks.

    Hey Jistic

I dont think its in the manual and I believe it has to do with the sensitivity of the step the batter takes toward the pitcher using the hit stick (i.e, higher slider value would produce a bigger step I believe)...

I would think if you decreased this value to zero, taking a step would be minimal and the hitter would be using all arms and shoulders to drive the ball and vice versa if you put it the slider to 100

Thanks. So if you're using classic batting this slider is really not applicable? I don't remember if the CPU has a setting for this. I would assume not.

Ya that is what I am thinking... so on my sliders, you can put it to zero. I did the same for the power stick slider because it wouldnt be applicable to classic hitting.

It is an interesting slider though.. I hope my assumptions are correct

          What it does is this...

If you remember in 2k6, there was a pop up that told you how well you timed your step and what affect, if any that it had on the hit.

This year, we dont' get the pop up but you still have to time your step in order to get solid contact.

The slider adjusts how much the step affects the hit..So, if you turn it down to zero, your timing wont' be as crucial.
