AI Slider Changing FIX!!! Read

Ok everyone, I was extremly mad when my AI sliders changed after hours of tweaking and then began to think this whole game was ruined because you definetly need good sliders to begin a franchise with........but this is the fix and it is tested and works perfectly.

When you do your sliders you MUST do them on the front screen....when your playing your game DO NOT ever go into difficulty, dont move any sliders in there dont even enter the option. Now if you do this it will never change on you. You must only do it when your on the front opening screen of the game.

Now once you make your slider set and save it you can now turn off the console.

BUT..........now comes the problem some are probably hitting, when you re-boot the system and go into your sliders it will ask you if you want to save them even though you hadnt changed anything, HIT NO, go to next screen it will ask same thing, HIT NO, I beleive it asks you 3-4 times and keep saying NO, then it wont ask anymore because you havent changed anything and the sliders will never change as long as you follow this.

I would add one thing...when you set your sliders, make sure you change Game Difficulty to Custom before you start editing. I noticed that when I edit with the game difficulty set to Legend, reloading my VIP resets the sliders to the legend setting. It didn't seem to happen when the game setting was set to All Star...and I didn't test it with Pro or Rookie.

I changed my sliders and they were still there when I turned the system back on. The key is when you go back and look at them just don't hit yes if you didn't make any changes to the page. Hit no....and you're good.

If I already started a Franchise, can I still make these changes on the main menu screen and will they carry over into my Franchise?

no that didn't work for me. you have to start over or change them every game

You can set your sliders in the Franchise menu also. You just have to go to my 2k7 Tab, then to my franchise and you can change your difficulty sliders in there. So i dont think you would need to start your season/franchise over again because you wouldnt be changing them in game.

Sorry guys but im pretty sure u can change the difficulty in game. Ive been doing it with no problem on a 360. As long as you enter no 3 times when it asks you after changing nothing ur set.

Now if you change them in game in a franchise itll keep those sliders for the franchise but will not change ur sliders outside the franchise. But you can alter your franchise slider set in game.

Agreed. I've had no problems changing them during a game.

Mine dont save at anytime. I can save em in franchise or the main menu, doesnt matter. Always revert back to defaults when i enter the settings menu.

2K5 had an issue where the sliders sometimes wouldn't stay if you overwrote them. The fix was to make changes, then save them as a new save file (which isn't possible this year I believe). Maybe that's part of your issue...?
