For those having trouble reading the pitch...

At first, I had my zoom setting for batting all the way at zero, so it looked like 2k4. I was having alot of trouble reading balls and strikes and in trun struck out alot and didnt walk at all.

I decided to mess with the zoom slider and took it all the way to 100. Its pretty damn close but also seems to drop down a bit. Instantly, I was able to work the count, get walks, and my hitting greatly improved. Instead of striking out 10 - 15 times a game, It went down to around 5.

So if you having trouble with hitting and reading, give it a shot, it worked quite well for me.

    kev.

P.S. i also put the Percieved pitch speed at 50.

Nice tip, I'll try it out. Although I think at 75 the pitch speed is too slow. MVP was so fast that I'm used to it being quick. Too easy to sit on a fast ball with the pitch speed so low.

However that might change with the zoom being increased.

Interesting... thanks for the tip! I'm going to have to try this because I've been striking out 10-15 times a game too. Very frustrating.

Yep...Setting the zoom to 90 did wonders for my hitting. Definitely try it out guys.

I'm going to have to give this a try. I've been going down by the K at least 10 times a game and been able to walk about once. Hopefully this'll help, as you guys have said it did for you.
