I suppose it all depends on who you ask. I have mine at 90 with Contact at 40 and power at 50 and it seems to work out fairly well.Gamertags

Do you play like full seasons and try for real realism baseball........like the last 3 years I have used BigFnJoe's Pure Realism sliders and have played 162 game seasons with very realistic stats........im not sure why people are putting this at 0-25........I mean I dont get how putting there Skill to below rookie level would make this game more realistic......I mean sometimes they screw up the sliders and there reverted the wrong way......but Skill i would think to put at 75-100.........Last year I had Skill 75 Contact 65 and Power 45 for AI and it was amazing, maybe i should keep it at that huhComment

I played a partial season and I'm currently in the ALDS (game 5 now) with the Tigers. I don't want to play a full season until I have everything set the way I want it. If I'm not mistaken, the skill slider directly affects the Power and Contact sliders. I think once you find a balance of power and contact, you use the Skill slider to tweak that set. I'm really not sure how to explain that but it seems to be pretty decent there. I think having the fielders speeds adjusted correctly plays a part in this too, allowing balls to drop in and such.Gamertags

I believe that it was baa7 who, last year, found a few good reasons to put AI Skill at 0. So if he finds this thread, I'm sure he'll be willing to share those reasons why.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Also as you say lowering the boosted fielders on both sides (speed & arms) helps to get a nice variety of hits.
As for values I came to the same as yours by experimenting: 90-40-50 does the trick for me.Comment
