    Computer pulls SP too soon!

It's 3 - 1. Bottom of the 3rd, 2 outs, guy on 1st, and the computer yanks their starting pitcher. This happens too much and is my only beef with the game.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Yeah, don't score so many runs against him

What do you have the pitcher stamina set at? I mean, are they being pulled because of the score or because they are tired?

      I think it's fatigue.

Danny Haren has thrown 60 pitches, given up 2 runs, and he is at 22%. Seems low.

I have AI Fatigue set to 65 and they usually make it into late-mid to late innings, I have HUMAN fatigue set at 35.

I had it at 60 . I thought 65 would make them not last as long. Maybe I read the slider setting wrong.

Like I said in the 'Issues' thread, maybe I have it wrong.... I can't remember which way is which now.
It is called 'Fatigue' but I was wondering if they have it set up like a Stamina slider but I can't get the tv right now to check what the info at the bottom says.

Im having the same problems, being ultra patient at the plate is killing the computer pitchers and they arent lasting to the 5th inning normally, last game they pulled their starter in the 3rd inning and he had thrown approx 55 pitches and stamina was at approx. 30%, score was 3-1 at the time. Im trying to figure out how the fatigue slider works also, any feedback would be appreciated.

Move the AI PITCHER FATIGUE slider down.
Try 50. If that doesn't work move it down.

the way i play and the sliders i'm using, i've had numerous pitchers throw 100+ pitches and go 7+ innings on me. Chech them out.

Thanks, maybe it was all in my head when I lowered it last time because it didnt seem to make a difference but I will lower it again and see what happens. The only thing that makes me nervous is that this small change will cut down even further on the walks thrown by the computer since they will have better control, I guess time will tell.

I have AI fatigue set to 45 and seems just right! The only time they pull early on me is if I get 3-5 runs in bunches. Otherwise I have had guys go 7inn even had Halloway go 10 on me!

How are walks with the fatigue slider set this low though? I dont want to go from drawing maybe 1-2 walks a game to not getting any since the CPU pitchers arent tired and therefor their control is still top notch, just curious what you are seeing in that regard before I give them a shot.

Hard to say, I get plenty of walks since I have aquired some patience. I do not see late inning crazy amounts of walks. The cpu pitchers get plenty tired with these but I feel that the way I have my AI pitching sliders set it is near perfect! I will put them on here later tonight/today. I counted 8 straight balls in the 2nd inning to arod and giambi! Never seen that before so I know I don't have the sliders set crazy! The pitcher-Millwood got tense with runners on base early. The crowd was going crazy too. This game is great! I am assuming he got tense? I know he couldnt hit any part of the zone! (maybe hurt?)

Thanks for the feedback, using Heels sliders Im not having problems wearing down the pitchers I just hate having them be out of energy by the 3rd or 4th inning and having only thrown 50-60 pitches seems rediculous. Initially I just wasnt sure how the slider worked and after seeing such a dramatic lowering of that slider I just wanted to verify that the walks were still coming, this just allowed the CPU to actually pitch deeper into games. Thanks again.
