Jpup's MLB 2k7 Classic Swing Sliders

I have played, at least, 75 games so far and now I think I have found an amazing slider set. I started using Heelfan's sliders and loved them, but then they became way too easy, as far as pitching. I could never get the CPU to score more than 1 or 2 runs per game against me. I have used some of Heel's sliders as well as parts of others posted on this board. Most of them are also derived from Heelfan's.

Keep in mind, while you are pitching, you should always throw where the CPU calls the pitch to achieve the desired result IMO. If he calls a ball, throw a ball.

I have not tried these with the swing stick. Your very good starters will be very good and your bad starters will be bad. To compare to the Reds, Harang and Arroyo are good to very good and Milton is pretty horrible, but you can still get some wins with him. The opponent also has a huge effect with these sliders.

Play 5 games with them and let me know what you think. Use all 5 of you starters, at least, once and you will see the difference. These could be too hard for the beginner and possibly too easy for the expert, but I find them damn near perfect right now.

When batting, do you actually move the L stick to influence how the ball is hit? Like if the ball is up in the strike zone do you move the L stick up? With every other slider set i've used if i even think of moving the L stick up its a instant HR.

I tried these sliders for a few games and they did play pretty well. Here are stats from one of them:
          R H E
          Chicago Cubs - 7 10 4
          St. Louis Cardinals - 6 9 1

          Chicago
          Soriano 2-5
          Jones 1-5
Lee 2-4 (3 Run Walk Off HR)
          Ramirez 2-4
          Floyd 1-4
          Barrett 1-4
          DeRosa 1-4
          Perez 0-4

          Prior - 7 IP 2 ER 9K 2BB

          St. Louis
          Eckstein 1-4 (SAC)
          Duncan 0-5
          Pujols 4-4 (BB) (Grand Slam)
          Edmonds 3-4 (Solo HR)
          Rolen 1-4
          Encarnacion 0-4
          Molina 0-3 (BB)
          Kennedy 0-4

          Carpenter - 6 IP 4ER 8K 0BB

          Couple notes about the game-
The 4 errors with my SS Perez, a AAA player that I had to bring up due to the injury of Izturis was a little concerning, but it may have just been his skill level.

This was probably my best played game so far. I really had to work for the strikeouts that I got. Rarely did the CPU chase balls off the plate unless I worked them to a 0-2 or 1-2 count. Prior pitched a pretty good game, however my relievers struggled which is fairly accurate of the Cubs.

My win loss for these sliders was 3-3.

Extremely stoked with the walk off HR. My first one of the season. All in all these sliders played a fun game thanks for the effort creating them, however I have a custom slider set that I created based on the efforts of several people that I am enjoying for now.

I like these sliders, but the only thing I've noticed so far that kind of bugs me a little bit is the CPU swings at everything when it's in the strike zone. I haven't seen them take a strike at all. Even with a 3-0 count.

Other than that they play extremely well.

You can adjust than pretty easily by using the swing at strike overall slider to fit your liking. I am getting over 100 pitches per game with my starters a lot of the time. I feel like I have to sacrifice something to get the CPU to take a walk.

I haven't had any problem with them taking strikes, they take them a lot against me.

Dude, i tried these and they are quite good. I was never a big fan of using the payoff pitching interface but with your sliders, it actually works. I did make a couple of minor tweaks to fit my skill level but overall, i'm quite satisfied.

I didn't have problems either. I did find I had a lot more success in the CPU taking strikes when pitching sliders or curvs (usually hitting the low and outside corner). For some reason or another my catcher wants my pitcher to wear out by the 5th inning by calling for all fastballs. I think I will send him down to AAA for some work
