    Sliders for Sliders

    So last week I got a 360 for my birthday and MLB2k7 was the first game I picked up.

    After messing around with sliders and trying to find the right combination of Heelfan's, the "Perfect Slider" settings, one of the things that I realized is that there are way too many sliders in the game. I'm all for putting them in the game but this is crazy.

    Because of this we'll probably be adjusting them until 2k8. The problem is that the description of what they do is so ambiguous that we don't know what to adjust

    Can someone tell me why there are sliders for CPU Contact and Power and then tell me what CPU Skill has to do with that? It seems like they contradict each other?

    How about one slider for CPU Swing Frequency instead six different ones depending on the count. Ridiculous.

    What about one slider each for both the user and CPU for Pitch Control. That will eliminate probably 6 or 7 adjustments.

    Just a quick I'm bored at the office Friday rant.

    A slider that's not in the game that should be....Foul Ball Slider.

    Maybe your bored but it is true. The more sliders they put in the game, the more difficult and the longer it takes. I started a season last week and since quit because things were not looking right. If the developer thinks their doing us gamers justice, i think not. Yes, use one slider for each option that would work for human/cpu. Too many combinations that one slider will throw off another. Yikes!!!!!!

      I totally agree man, And the funny thing is the best AI in any baseball game was High heat baseball. Ugly *** game but the AI was on point and the game had 0 sliders. Just make the physics correct both with hitting and fielding and let the players attributes determine the outcome of the situation in all aspects of the game. Did u see how many sliders are out there, and they all have faults, because when it all comes down to it. Those sliders are set to that players abilty and not everyone else. We are all different in skill level, so there is no perfect slider for the game for all of us to enjoy. U have to find your own or tweak from someone. Thats is why I only posted a slider for AI hitting which was the one set of sliders i had the most trouble finding that comon ground, but all other sliders are just preference. Good luck with the slider but in a week u will see " New sldiers or adjust this and that"

      This game is what it is. Pretty with potential, but the AI isnt just right. Hopefully next year it gets better.
