The Holy Grail of Sliders for MLB 2k7

Have been tweaking since the game was released...

    AI Steal 2nd: 80

AI Pickoff: 65 (keeps you honest on basepaths)
    AI Pitchout: 75
    AI Meat Pitch: 45

The Power slider may seem high for both teams, but I only average 3 HRs per game (user and CPU combined) I had three HR in my last game (2 CPU, 1 for me to tie game in 11th inning 6-6, a 2 run shot)

Update I played another game now:
LAA 4, STL 3.....11 innings ....Angels gave me 6 walks in the game...Lackey was starter he threw 20 pitches in the first inning (8 ball,12 strikes) and ended up with 74 pitches in 3 and 2/3 innings

One HR in game by Orlando Cabrera in the 11th inning

    I gave up 4 walks

    Next game: STL at KC
No home runs in the game....1-1 in 8th inning, when KC singled me to death to score 4 runs...I lost 5-1. Caught a foul ball behind the plate. One at bat had 3 foul balls. KC tried a suicide squeeze against me in the 4th inning, batter missed the bunt, and I tagged the runner out. These sliders are awesome and if you are tired of hitting 15 HRs in your game, try them.

No offense, but if you're basing how good your sliders are off of one game, you're fooling yourself. Why is this so hard for people to understand?

They aren't based off one game. If you read my post, you see I've been tweaking since day 1.

c'mon guys, people are really trying to improve this game bye spending months, coming up with a decent set of sliders that not only help themselves but maybe others can benefit as well. Let's all be a happy OS family!!!

At least I tested my sliders for two months before putting out a set. Heelfan tweaks his every hour and everybody keeps trying his. If he had the best sliders, he wouldn't keep tweaking them. Unlike him, I won't be up to version 20.0 next week.

                    Why the hostility?

No one person has the "best settings". I can't speak for everyone, but i think everyone here would agree with that.

We all play the game different and what one person thinks is realistic another might deem unrealistic. Its all personal preference. Your settings create a gaming experience you like. Other people think another set is best for them. No need for personal attacks...

Alright now, stop it. We will NOT put up with "my sliders are better than your sliders" pissing contests around here. Thank you for your contribution to the community, but there's no need to go bashing someone else's sliders, regardless of how often they are updated.

My first post in this thread served as a reminder to people trying sliders not to give up on them after 1 game because a baseball season is 162 games long and no two games are alike. I didn't mean to bash you or your slider making.

Seriously though - why do you people get so butt hurt about your sliders? You're not actually...making anything. You're just adjusting settings within a game.

I'll back you up on that one. I would say you were one of the few people here that didn't "tinker" too much with their settings.
