meh, these sliders arent for me. with the AI take all at 100 i struck the first 5 batters out looking. and the outfielders are a little to slow. human hitting is right on though.

Don't give up on them yet. Some games are easier then others on striking players out. But I know you haven't gotten past 10ks with each of your starting pitchers in the 2 games you listed. I have played 5 games in owner mod and my highest strike out with 1 pitcher was 9ks in 8 innings. I had to pull the starter after 8 innings because his gas was sitting on 0.

As far as the cpu offense goes sure they can be weak at times. but I have played enough games with these(5 game owner mod games excluded) to know what the cpu is capable of against you. So i don't feel bad about it when the cpu plays weak because I have seen first hand on how dangerous they can be. Just give these time and you will see it too.


As far as the outfielders go they are suppose to be slow that what makes it realistic. Come on in real life do you see outfielders blazing around the field? no you don't.

Rather you agree or not the outfielder speed is perfect. All because the feilder spd boost is set at 0 dosen't mean you can press the A button and have them speed up alittle.

i tried them out again but I made the human power 50, because I use swing stick without pushing up. I got a lot better game will keep trying these out

DallasRocks I am glade you are getting better games.


Side Note. Right now I am currently working on a patch that will make the cpu more dominate but at the same time keep the simulated eras low. Hopefully I can get this done soon I have been doining alote of simming and let me tell you its hard to find the right set of sliders to make the era lower at the same time making the cpu more dominate.

So for everyone using these please hold on to them because i will be releasing a patch soon.

Its alote like real life you have to be a good guesser.. Making the batters eye visable really helps. The more you play with the speed at 100 the better your guessing will be.. That is best answer I can give you on that.

lol....yea but baseball isnt ALL about guessing. You should be able to read a pitch atleast a little. Anyways thanks for the sliders....

Thats a great idea b/c at the end of the year the CPU's lowest Team ERA is always over 4.00

How exactly are you going to create a patch for this game when you can't access the source code to implement a patch? Or is patch the wrong term and you're messing with rosters/sliders?

Origionally the 3rd was suppose to be the last one. But then I started to figure out the sliders a bit more and decided that I could make my sliders better. and thats excactly what I have done with each release. If you try these you will agree they are my best yet.

Here is what I have done with these and made them much better.

(These 2 changes are optional)
Use the Swing Stick instead of Classic Hitting
Use Zone 1 and Breakpoint instead of Zone 2 and Pinpoint
(These 2 changes have to be made)
Lower Pitch Speed from 100 to 70
Change AI Pitcher Difficulty from 100 to 0 just like the Human slider.

Those 2 changes have made these sliders 100% better, now I can read pitches and the CPU can hit. I played 4 innings during my lunch break and I was losing to the Dodgers 4-1 with the Cubs. LA had 4 runs on 7 hits including a 2 run bomb by gonzalez. I will test more tonight.
