NCAA Arcade/Sim Sliders.(Without the updated patch)

    NCAA Sim/Arcade Sliders Version 2 7-9-07 415 AM

I call these a mix between arcade and sim because you get a arcade experience with sim stats. I have tried and tried to go with a full sim experience but I either end up makeing the cpu to weak, or if I give them any offense at all they always end up scoring more runs off of hrs then RBIs. Okay here is the deal before I tried out the gameplay with these. I wanted to make sure the eras would sim out realistically. So what I did was sim the same season back to back 3 times in a row. I know the eras sim out random, but depending on what your sliders are set to you can atleast get one of the pitchers to sim in the 2.0's atleast 2 times in a row. Here was my results the first time I got 1 to sim in the 2.0's the second time I got 2, and the thrid time I got 4 in a row! With a few in the low 3.0's. this is the first time ever that I have simulated the same season back to back 3 times and the eras get lower instead of higher.

Please just try these out and let me know what you think about the upgraded cpu offense. The batting in this game is kinda arcadey (in a fun way not bad). There are not to many walks in this game so working the count is goining to do you any good, but the cpu still does INTL walks, so you should still get a few a game. On the other hand the human pitching is very sim like. You are not goining to have all 5 of your starters leading the lowest era and highest strike colums. I have only tested these on 5 games. I swept the pirates and then lost 2 in a row to st. louis. 11-6, and 6-3. So I see the cpu has defenitly been upgraded. Even thought the batting is kinda arcadey the stats will still sim out realistic.

Like I said please try these and let me know what you think about them. these have not been tested on the lates patch that has been released, so I would also like feed back from those that have the latest update. One last thing zone pitching hasn't been tested with these but payoff works great.

    Notes:
There is nothing wrong with version 1. Its just that these
have the cpu offense stronger pluse these are alittle bit more
arcadey then the first but still realistic stats. So if you are
looking for a bigger challenge over the previous version then
    you will love these.

I am hopeing these will work for the update. If anyone has the update try these and let me know how they work. Infact I want to here from all people on how these work.

In my opionion these are alote better then version 6, which can be found on the front page by the way.

I explained some things in the sliders below. I hope these new one can satisfy more people this time. So please try these and let me know what you think about them. All comments and Question welcomed.

Notes: I have found that the OF SP, INF SP, throw speeds, and field agressiveness,
is all tied in together. With that said the game moves very realistic with the way the
    the sliders are set.
Pitcher fatigue at 40 is a perfect setting.
Injuries - Rule of thumb always make the fatigue and injuries the same #.
Why? because if you don't then, exe: you set the injuries higher then the fatigue.
The pitcher takes a greater chance on getting hurt before they get low of stamina.
The way it should work is the lower the stamina the greater risk of your pitcher
getting hurt and not the other way around. Also your injuries work off the fatigue
    system anyways.

    AI Steal 3rd: 90
    AI Steal Home: 90

Notes: Some of the sliders here have to match the human.
For the other sliders the numbers by them make them all work perfect.

    AI BATTING OPTIONS

    Game Difficulty: Custom
AI Batters Use Inside Edge: OFF
    AI Take Strike Overall: 90
    AI Take Strike Ahead: 40
    AI Take Strike Behind: 50

    AI Power: 50
    AI Bunt For Hit:10
    AI Pitcher Difficulty: 10
    AI Effectiveness MOD: 90

Notes: Edge is off to allow the good pitchers to be good and the bad to be bad.
The ball and strike setting are perfect the cpu is very unperdictable on these settings.
Also note that with the bat settings the player will have a higher pitch count.
Skill at 90 should allow the good baters to show as well as the bad ones.
Eff MOD at 90 will make you be very careful on leaving pitchers in when they are under
50 Stamina. On good pitchers the start might be slow for the cpu but if you leave
them in for awhile the cpu will start to slap the ball around the park.

    AI PITCHING OPTIONS

AI Pitchers Use Inside Edge: On
    AI Corner: 90
    AI Change Speed: 10
    AI Throw Strike Overall: 30

    AI Throw Strike Behind: 90
    AI Fatigue: 40
    AI Pickoff: 50
    AI Pitchout: 90
    AI Meat Pitch: 10

Notes: Not much to say here, except for the fact I made human and cpu fatigue the
same. Another note is that the cpu pitchers should be pretty random now on the most
part on where they throw the ball.
Okay this is all I have to say about these. Please let me know how they turn out for you.
Any comments and questions are welcomed. Later.
