NCAA Sliders For A True Sim Experience (Should work with update)

NCAA Sliders For a True Experience 7-12-07 4:27 AM.

Even though these have not been tested with the update these should still work.I hear they have toned down the power and the fielding speed. With the setting that I have for these should be enough for them to work out just as good with the update as they do with out it. Please try these and let me know what you think of them.

(7-12-07 4:27 AM Changes made was to the cpu batting.)

Quick question. How can you make sim sliders for people that have the patch, when you haven't even downloaded the patch yourself?? Thats like me posting Madden 08 sliders eventhough the game doesn't come out till next month.

Thats why I said it should not that it would. Besides the gameplay hasn't changed all that much to need completly differen't sliders for the update.

If you have the update try them and let me know how they work.

Fixed the cpu batting sliders. So just give the batting sliders a glance over again to get the new ones.

I am goining to start posting month by month stats on here. I still have a ways to go. These are some great sliders if you haven't tried them yet you don't know what your are missing.

Anyways I might post some stats half way through the month then just start another thread with just the stats I am not sure yet. Can wait for NCAA to get here its goining to be fun makeing sliders for that game too.

Anyways have fun guys. I would really like to know how these are working out for you guys. Just so you will know I have everything the way I want. This is my final set. The next set of sliders I put out will be the football ones.

              Later.

Hey NCAA. I love these sliders but I find Payoff-Breakaway little too hard so I use

Zone-Breakaway. Is that ok? Thanks man.

Just finished one game: PHI(ME) vs HOU

                      Hou: 4/9/0
                      Phi: 13/16/0

I didnt enjoy the sliders, honestly, sorry.

                      - Outfielders are WAY too fast which causes gappers to be automatic outs. And any flyball is an out

                      - CPU strikes out alot (especially on 3 pitches)

                      - CPU hardly throws balls

                      - Offense for me was waaaay too easy. Hit 4 HR (one was a GS) and i wasnt pressing up.

i will play another game with these to see how they play out again, but so far, i dont like them.

Don't judge by one game. That looks like a normal game from a team that isn't that good. Hou in this game is alote beter then PHI. You will have games like this with any sliders. but with these the game you just had could be opposite if you play against a good team.

EXE: In my owner mode I blew out pits, I swept them.
My next series was against st. louis. Guess what St. Louis swept my ***!
The first game is played the cardinals beat me 11-7 on top of that they shut me out the very next game. on the 2nd one they beat me 7-0. One the 3rd game I thought I was goining to actually win it but they ended up winning 6-5

So you see all because you have one blow out game doesn't mean you will do that with every team. These sliders are awsome just give them some more play.

By the way the outfielders are not to fast.
As far as the strikeout issue goes, I am curious on how many Ks you get a game. I find that 45 is just right as to if you raise it to 50 you don't get enough.

The cpu not throwing any balls? Thats strange just got done playing CHI Cubs and got walked 6 times.

You said you will give them another shot. Hopefully they work out better for you next time.

im about to try them, but, how can you tell me the fielders are not too fast? Do you have the patch yet to verify that? I am telling you that I can run down ANY fly ball accept HR and off the wall. Just a small tweek to the speed, speed burst i think would be good.

Also: "AI Effectiveness MOD: 55- This is just right. The cpu will now change there sp more often."

^isnt that slider for determining how capable the cpu is for hitting your pitcher?

                          off to use them now.

NO I don't have the patch, so I have no idea how fast or slow the fielders are with them. All I can say is without the patch the fielder speeds are perfect. They catch what they are suppose to and miss what they are suppose to. You said you had alote of problems hitting into the gap. I have not had that problem. I have played 7 games with these and have probably gotten more doubls as a whole then singles.

Question is the outfielding speed the only thing bothering you?

AI EFF doesn't that determine on how good the cpu hits your pitcher?

Yes and no. Actually the AI pitch diff has more of en effect on how easily the cpu picks up base hit over the AI EFF slider. With the AI Pitch diff slider equal to the contact slider then it keeps them from knocking hrs everytime they score. Instead with this slider even to the contact they will get more base hits then hrs durring a game. Lets move on to the AI EFF Slider.

This slider plays a role in both played and sim games. What this does in a played game is for human is - when your pitcher gets low fatigue and they don't throw a good pitch it allows the cpu to put more power behind the hit then it would if you had a higher fatigue level. IF you pay attention to your pitchers fatigue level you will know that the hits behind even on your good pitches have more power to them. Which leads me to sim games. With this setting set the way it is the cpu will realize this slider and subsitue more often durring the sim games leading to lower eras and the end of the season.

Another effect the AI EFF slider has is during the games if you start slappin the ball around the field the cpu will take in effect on this slider and change their pitchers. Example I have the cpus fatigue set on 50 so there is no way they will be running on fumes by the 5th inning. There have been several games even the games where I was behind in the 6th or 5th and they would still pull their pitcher when they had 60% fatigue left.

I am not sure why but this slider ties into more with the fatigue system then it does for the cpu to actually get more base hits.

This is the best explaination that I could give you. Hopefully I have been helpful.

Try the small tweak to the speed settings and let me now how it works out for you. You could be right with the patch they might be alittle high. I have no way of knowing that since I do not have the patch. But considering the speeds I am haveing a hard time figuring out how it could be that much different then the version that isn't patched.
