    On to Something Big

Hi this is my first year making my own sliders but i have noticed something pretty important.. Not sure if others have noticed this but its pretty huge!! The most important slider for hitting is the foul ball slider... Ive seen everyone put it on 100% just because they want more foul balls for better pitch counts...
When its set to high where do you think all of your hits are going??? That right there going foul! So when slider is set to 100 you will see less hit variety and mostly grounders and pop ups..
I almost have my sliders where i want them i will post them in a few days but give me some feedback on what you guys think about this...

Not sure about the hit variety but I noticed when I had foul balls maxed out I hit 4 foul outs to the catcher in about 3 innings, so I toned it down a little.

Sounds good, but also take into account the Skill Slider which affects Hit Variety more than the Foul Ball Slider

One thing I did note Joe, is that the CPU can still hit with skill at 0 and contact at 0. I put both down at 0 just to see what would happen and I only struck out 6 total in two games (actually had some good games scorewise...lost 6-4 and 3-1). I know in the past if you put those two at 0 the CPU resembled a little league team hacking away up there.

Very interesting, I did put that slider up all the way and my hit variety went way down. There were also a few times where I coulda sworn I timed a pitch perfectly yet I fouled it off.

I know that exact feeling. Maybe something in the 75-90 range would be more reasonable? I'll have to try it when I can play again...

I'm troubled by this. I just played a game with skill, contact and power all at zero for the CPU, and proceeded to allow 17 runs, including five homers. Now, granted, 8 of those runs came while I had the pitching interface all the way up (threw about fifteen straight meatballs at one point), but nevertheless it makes me wonder just how much effect these sliders have. If they're cranking five homers on me with power at zero, getting 25 hits with contact at zero ... I mean, it's just not a good sign.

I'm starting to think that the sliders are not working.
