I am using 25 for IF/OF both HUMAN and AI and seeing some good results as well.

Now with the Total Control Pitching slider I have that at 55 right now but if I move that up does it increase the chance of a meatball or just missing outside of where you were aiming???

IMO, absolutely. The velocity of the pitch has everything to do with the 'pop' off the bat, just as IRL.

That said, try increasing PS to at least 75, and drop the PWR slider back to 50. You should see a dramatic difference, even with the Padres.

If you don't, then increase PS in 5 click increments, but I wouldn't suggest going over 85.

Thanks for the advice but, I don't know. Right now I have pitch speed at 40 because I need it there to distinguish between strikes and balls completely out of the zone. I had it at 65 for awhile and was striking out way to much.

I use Classic hitting and I really need to focus on pitch location and the location of the left stick for hit influence. I just crushed a 450ft. bomb with Hafner because I was sitting on a high and tight FB. I think I just may need to practice.

I understand, I use SS 2.0 (it's unreal how it transpires to swinging a bat IRL, it's all about timing) and i'm at the point where my timing is pretty darn good - hence, getting ALOT of quality contact.

Re: Does anyone have GREAT IF/OF Speed/Reaction Time?

I just destroyed Seattle with the Cubs 15-6 after being down 5-1 after the first. Get this, Seattle pitchers threw 179 pitches and walked 11 batters!! My highest walk total for one game prior to this was 3.

I wanted to try something different, so I went with the number 5 starter for both teams. Lieber was God awful for the Cubs and threw 41 pitches in the first. Sorianos grand slam in the 6th put the Cub in front for good at 8-6. I brought in Wertz and Wood for the final 8 innings and they held the Mariners to 1 run, a solo shot by Sexson in the 4th.

I am really close to having the perfect set of sliders for me. The last thing I need to figure out is how to lower my HR totals but increase the quality of my hits. The ground balls are soft as are the line drives. It seems I'll either hit a HR or a single. In the last game I had 15 hits. 8 singles, 6 homers, and 1 double.

            My slider settings:

            Contact:50
            Power:85
            Skill:100

The only time I saw, the speed of the hits increase was when I was experimenting with the power above 90. As soon as I find the right mix here, I'll be able to start the dynasty. Any ideas?

Maybe pull down the skill slider to 85-90. That might lower the HRs?

BTW when you do have the perfect sliders please list them for me and others.

Well I started this thread and ive seen some pretty wacky sliders now with Reaction time ranging from 0-100 lol....Ive seen alot of Speed ratings ranging mainly around 25.......how does everyone think these look

                Human SPeed
                IF - 25
                OF - 30

                AI Speed
                IF - 25
                OF - 30

Reaction IF - 25 for both
Reaction OF - 35 for both

Anyone out there likeing these settigs and getting good results, i see the one guy who says he has the perfect sliders, he has Human Reaction OF at 0 and AI Reaction OF at 100.....that seems kinda crazy to me

ALso how is everyone like the slider at 50 for baserunning speed, we all remember last year we had to put it at 100, but this year seems to be ok, anyone noticing vey fast players beating out what they should beat out i.e Reyes Ichiro Gomez Crawford and others speedsters

HUman and AI Skill most people have at 100, I think 80 is about right, any thoughts?

I have mine at these setting and they seem to work great. They are the same for CPU and Human.

                  INF Speed - 25
                  OUT Speed - 35

                  INF Reaction - 15
                  OUT Reaction - 25

They are in the GAME STATS option not in the boxscore.
