Hey Dan hows it going I hope the marriage and all is all good!

Long time no see and I think this is the best baseball game ever hands down even with the bugs as a matter of fact all the great baseball games had issues, MVP 05 Had a stuttering issue real bad.

IF I change the PD slider will that drop the number of hits im getting? Im hitting a homerun for every hit I get. I want to lower the homerun totals but also dont want to decrease hits at the same time.

Start off with lowering Power 1st as the new sliders set has lowered Power for AI and Human.

I had Human Power at 12 + and now it's 10 - so thats 22 clicks to the left from the old setting I had.

Took your advice and changed the power sliders.

Human Power is 35 from the left

AI Poswer is 11 from the left

After a few games with the power set this way im amazed. Far less homeruns but still enough there. But what really is amazing is the different kind of hits im seeing now. Bloopers , gap shots , and grounders coming off the bat in so many directions that I wasnt seeing before.

All I can say is WOW!

well, played a quick 4 innings at lunch Red Sox, Blue Jays. I was ahead after 4 innings, 6-5. Pitching with Dice-K is difficult with his windup and I gave up 2 homers to Frank Thomas, and Greg Zaun, it still seems to me there are too many homers, but it probably has to do with the location of the pitch.

I am seeing a lot of variety in hits, but with the Sox, it seemed I could hit almost anything off of Burnett. I also hit a bomb with Ortiz and then hit a 3 run home with Varitek.

It was early, but 4 hrs through 4 innings seems a lot, but pitch location has something to do with it. Where should sliders be pitched, as I tend to ignore where the catcher calls for this pitch.

try doing what i did and turn down the power to the numbers i posted above. also the slider should be used just outside of the strikezone or just inside. DONT LEAVE IT OVER THE PLATE!!

If the updated sliders still show to much power for you try raising the Step Influence and or Pitcher Difficulty.

Raising Pitcher Difficulty makes is harder to hit pitchers.

Raising Step Influence makes the step in your swing more important to time correct.

Yeah I almost raised AI contact until my pitchers streak ended and some started getting shelled for hits and homers!

I love it when a bloop up shallow center falls in while the SS , 2nd Base and Center Fielder all just about get to the ball.

Check my NEW updated sliders.. I put Hman power to 25... CPU power is at 12 for me... I don't have a problem there, so its more than likely your location on ur pitches... I personally ALWAYS pitch what the catcher suggests! I will throw off the plate if he calls for it too.. even if the count is 3-1, and he calls a FB high and inside off the plate.. I'll throw it.. sometimes I walk him.. other times he will make contact... That's me personally though with always pitching what he suggests.. makes it more realistc to me, and a little more difficult even maybe??
