    Managing Roster...

How do you all manage getting your backup catcher playing time.. it seems like my starter doesn't fatigue too much before its back to 100%, so I never erally need to sub in my backup. Also with other player... lowering their morale, which I'd like to keep mediocre at least for them. Any tips, or suggestions on how you deal with this, and how you plan subbing? Thanks!

    Re: Managing Roster...

For me I use the Red Sox so I just sub out Varitek when Wakefield is pitching. For other players, I only sub out Manny, Papi, and Lowell when they're under 90%. For all other players I sub them out at like 92-93%. Of course if they're all in this range I'll just sub out the players who have been playing a lot of games recently. This seems to work and it keeps the lineups fresh, and if you've ever followed the Sox during a season you'd know Francona gives his players a lot of days off.
