Nope. The new pitching is the best new feature in a sports game in a long time. Why rob yourself of this great system?Comment

Re: anybody using classic pitching and swing stick together?
I use classic pitching, and swing stick 2.0. I use a combination of SFGiants slider set, and Dan's slider set. I actually love them both. So I took what I like about both and mixed them and so far so good.
The thing is, with Dan's set, I played 7 games and didn't hit 1 HR with any player. So I took SFGiants hitting sliders and used those (I did use SFGiants complete set and they worked great. I just tried Dan's out and they work well so stayed with them), and so far in the next 2 games I hit 3 HR's. 2 with one player in two games and 1 with another player in the 2nd game since switching. But the scores are still low so the stats are still very nice. I can get 4 hits one game, and 11 the next. Or I pitch 12 k's one game, and 4 the next. Actually I do notice that with Dan's set, the computer will watch a lot of pitches so I have had a few games of back to back 11-12 k's, but I imagine that happens in real life as well.
I am the Marlins so my team isn't very well to start. I am 8-1. My one game I lost was to the Mets. And 6 of my wins came against the Pirates (haha) and Nationals (LOL) so that just shows you that I can beat the crappy teams, but split with the good team. Also Pedro left the 2nd game in the 4th inning with an injury so That helped me win that series against the mets. All games were between 2-6 runs scored. I havn't scored more than 6, and I have been shut out once. All my avgs are ok. A few players above .300, one above .400, 3-4 above .200, and about 3-4 below .200 and .100.
I know I should probably give the new pitching thing a shot. I have always been classic swing until this year, I finally tried the swing stick and can't go back. LOLComment
