I Fess Up...I am Working on Some!

I'm working on some through a variety of slider sets I've seen on here. However, I have some definite issues that hopefully someone can chime in on. My play time on this game is drastically limited to what I would like to put into this due to married life and other projects (school, work, work). So no promises on a set anytime soon..but I can say I am working on some....so the word here is PATIENCE. Which is what I've had to use to find a decent set that work for me. Some generalizations from what I've seen:

    1) I suck at hitting. Either it's the .000002 reaction time for swinging the Wiimote, but either I'm early or late. My stats for actual games are somewhat ridiculous..ok, they are. Realistically thinking, there is absolutely no way I should walk 17 times in a game. I should be able to strikeout 8-12 times/game, depending on the pitcher.

    2) I should get some hittable pitches earlier in the count. Instead, with the slider sets I have utilized, I've been in 3-0 counts more than normal; way way WAY more than normal. Then at 3-0, its green light and then....

    3) Homeruns? Wow. In 7 games with the Royals, Mark Teahen has 6. NOT logical, in my opinion. This might be a thing where I may have to lay off pressing up on the Nunchuk and just swing the Wiimote.

Overall, I'm just looking for some balance, that's all. It could be the Wiimote operator, too.

Pitching wise.....its the exact opposite. I find it to be way way way EASY. I have the interface speed at 100, and I am still mowing people down with sub-starters like John Bale, Brett Tomko. Hell, I had 8 strikeouts with reliever Leo Nunez. Again, I ask for some assistance here.

Fielding, running the bases, etc - it's pretty good. I do commit errors from time to time in the infield and outfield, I can steal a base from time to time, I can make the first to third if I need to.
In the deed came the glory; in the glory came the champions.

Re: R There Any Wii Sliders?

i tried one group of sliders to the best of my ability (cause there's some categories that aren't in the other versions and on the wii and vice versa) and they were way too easy. on default the pitching is easy (i've already thrown a perfect game). I was on and off hitting on default, then tried someone's sliders (from 2ksports.com) and hitting became way to easy. homeruns still happen too often, as most runs from both human and cpu come from homers. fielding is an issue on both sides cause cpu controlled fielders don't cover ground well. and i have yet to see a pitcher throw to first base to pick someone off.

now i've used sfgiants sliders to the best of my ability (certain categories he has +50 when not possible; i've made these +5 from default). we'll see how it goes.
