User Pitching - Not Enough Walks - How do I throw more?

I've noticed I throw little to no walks. I mean I'm not going to purposely walk someone unless I'm pitching around a clean up hitter or have first base open and intentionally walk someone to setup a double play.

But I rarely, if EVER throw a walk with nobody on, or when it would really hurt me or in any random situation where I'm not intending on throwing a walk.

What can I do to make my walk count more realistic without forcing myself to just plainly throw balls outside of the strike zone?

I thought about upping the Total Control Pitching Slider but won't that get me a ton of meatballs? I've also manually adjusted a few of my pitchers control and walk settings (like Chuck James who throws about 1 per inning IRL). Nothing has really worked for me so far.

Right now I'm using BFNJOE's sliders with Total Conrol Pitching set at 60, although I've played with it as high as 80 and still not had trouble nailing the corners even on more difficult pitches to execute like Tom Glavine's Circle Change.

    Any suggestions are welcome.

    Thanks

put tcp on 100. You will have to throw balls to setup your pitches. Because if you just nail the corners u will get destroyed. then on a 3 ball count you will miss the corner because of the small effective circle and give up walks.

100 may be an exaggeration...but try it out.
