Is AI Pitcher Difficulty an overlooked slider?

I ask because I have noticed that by changing this one slider (and playing against the same team/pitcher) that hitting drastically increases for the human batter when the picher difficulty slider is turned down 10 clicks.

The effect seems to be less break on pitches and MORE balls thrown.

This slider might be the KEY for people that have difficulty hitting on 2k8.

10 clicks is a drastic change, so perhaps changing them between 1-5 clicks at a time would be more reasonable.

I bring this up because folks are constantly chnaging their skill/con/pow sliders, and they might just need to tune this one slider (pitcher difficulty).

It might also allow average pitchers to have more average stuff, rather than everyone seemingly having exploding pitches.

    Thoughts? Experiences?

It's not a slider to make hitting easier for me but more a slider I tell people that if your hitting great so good like Contact 0 then you start jacking up Pitcher Difficulty.

If you have a keen sense of the Swing Stick 2 then you want to keep it up so that you have tough games.

Remember this slider doesn't effect every pitcher it is only for GOOD PITCHERS meaning the slider is to make hitting easier or harder against good pitchers such as Santana.

      Gotcha.

The good news is when I was killing Wandy Rodriguez it's because I was hitting well and not because the AI PD slider was at 70.

I think I might try to lower it by 5 and see how I match up against the Ace's because they can be too tough and so are some of the closers!

I just had a good matchup between Lincecum and Wainright, tie game 1-1 in the 7th. Linceum was down to 16% because I was taking a lot of pitches and worked for 3 walks. He got wild, and I was able to score 2 runs on a double by Shumaker off a reliever.

I think I am playing with it at 70, and it seems "realistic" based on my lowish skill, and the fact that against star pitchers I MUST "get to their bullpen" to have a chance at winning the game.
