We'll guys I've tried/tested the low contact slider theory & actually like the results I'm getting. I also tested the AI Pitch Success Slider @ 55 & still got some walks & nice pitch counts, but I also saw some nice pitcher/batter duels. I even saw a 12 pitch AB, where I fouled off 5 straight pitches before I finally put the ball in play..

I want to wait for the PATCH to hit to see how the PATCH affects the game. If you guys want I will update the 1st page to reflect the changes I tested. Again I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the community in trying to get this game to play better than it does OTB.

      Good Job

OK, I updated the 1st page. You will notice 2 sets of #s in some sliders. Mainly in the Hitting section. The 1st #s are a set together & the 2nd # are a set together.

That also goes for the AI Pitch Success Slider. The 1st # is for the 1st Hitting set & the 2nd # is for the 2nd hitting set

Cool. I wrote down default legend last night and had 4 sets of sliders and was comparing them. I think your current changes are ones I was close to doing. I came back from down 5-0 to hit a walk off in the 11th. I turned on the pitch gesture and made pitching tough for me. really having fun.. even had a couple walks to start rallys off

For someone who knows nothing about working sliders, what's the difference between the two sets?

The difference really is if you find the 1st set too easy, the 2nd set should be a little more challenging.

Just a quick question....but how do you make pitcher's last longer? Do you increase the Pitcher fatigue slider or decrease it?

It's not fun seeing pitcher's being pulled after 5 innings and have only thrown 70-80 pitches....

And another thing: How far into the red to you ride your starters into? Do you guys keep him in there until he is 100% done, or do you guys pull him out as soon as he creeps into the red?

If I have a comfortable lead, I keep them in. But not til they %100 gone. Maybe halfway into the red at the most.

But if I am down, I usually take them out if they are giving up consecutive hits in a single inning while creeping on the red or in the red.

                        Hope that helps.

Joe I noticed you have ball trail off. I felt it would be better to have this on because without it you only see the landing marker and do not have a sense of speed of the ball in flight without it. We cannot see the flight of the ball movement only the landing indicator, so at least with the ball trail on we can take a different approach to the ball if it is going to be a hit. my 2 cents.

Yeah, I've never really understodd all the ball trail hate. It serves a pretty important function in the game, since there is not real good way to judge balls otherwise. I'd turn off the landing indicators before i would touch the ball trail.

I should of set Bail Trail & Ball Indicator to PREFERENCE because it is a preference. Adjustment made in the Presentation Settings

What are the main differences between v 3.0 and v 3.5, and does 3.5 give off more realistic stats?
