Only dealing with Success/Contact/Power for both HUM and CPU on Total Control?

Right now i have mine set that this

    Human
    Success - 40
Contact - 5 (you rarely swing and miss anyway)
    Power - 70

    Cpu
    Success - 40
    Contact - 10 (helps to get K's)
    Power - 65

What are everyone else who also use total control hitting and total control pitching? What kind of results are you getting? I have not seen many sliders go too far away from what i have mine set at but input is always welcome, trying to make this a great game with what they have given us lol.

p.s. I forgot to mention the fact I do not and will not ever use the hit direction infuluence as that is the reason I always hated Triple Play and MVP baseball back in the days, so anyone who only swings and does not attempt to hit homeruns or fly balls your input and sliders are GREATLY appreciated also.

You are very close to mine in my signature you can view my sliders.

Contact does nothing for me but Success and Power are tied together.

The higher the Success the more hits happen and Power must go lower.

Lower the Success the less power you have so you must up the Power but if you go lower then 35 Success you take away hit variety.

Now to take away cheese Power I set Batter's Eye, Directional and Zone to 0 as I only use RS to hit.

I do know if you have Directional Influence set then guys can just sit back with LS up and crank out homers of cheese with ease and by tuning it off you can not even influence a POP FLY.

For Online play I will sacrifice the ability to influence POP Fly's to keep the game playing sim.

These are almost exactly the same as mine too. I do keep the success slider at 50 or else you seem to get more bloops and less line drive type hits. With it at 50, I don't go above 65 or so on power or else you get cheap HRs as SFGiants said.

Also, I keep the directional hitting slider around 50. You can't drive an inside pitch the opposite way with any power, but you can influence a pitch down the middle some. I think real players depend on timing, but can alter their swing somewhat to direct their hits, and the slider at 40 or 50 simulates that.

I hope you're getting good games with these!
