what sliders should i use?

I'm not sure which set of sliders to use.

Are you serious? Um, you could start by opening any number of threads on this board to get the feedback you want. Do a little digging and you'll probably find whatever you're looking for. Come on! You're a Brewers fan, I guess I should go a little easy on you.

What I don't get is why people gotta be mean to the guy. Not everyone has time to sort through 47 pages, most of which is drivel in no way related to the sliders, or redundant questions.

SFGiants and BFJ have good sliders in my opinion.

Personally, I read another poster last night saying just set the game at Pro Default, turn AI Strike Zone Tendency and Pitch Zone Tendency to 0 and go to town. You can even unlock cards.

Really, until the patch, you either have to find something you are comfortable with, or just not play I guess. The above method got me a great game last night. Errors are there period, why drop the stat so you can't get cards. Bases can be stolen. It just plays a good game of baseball. The patch will probably make it better.

Lots of work went into good sliders, but you're only going to be satisfied when you get settings that enable you to have fun. I won a 2-1 thriller to open my franchise, including a BOMB from Cabrera off the glass facing in center field that was an absolute blast.

The Jays made one error, I made zero. Great game. Unlock cards too.

Sorry, but that's how we all had to figure out the slider thing. Laziness is no excuse--it's not like it's WORK clicking on a couple links and doing a little reading. Everything you need to know has been spelled out in quite a few of the threads here.

BTW, to the OP I'm using Guru's sliders as a guide and made a few tweaks of my own and really like the way the game is playing.

I would highly recommend JBH3's.
He does not have a thread in this slider forum but they are on his arena here at OS.
They are the best, most realistic set up sliders on here and I have tried them all many times.

I'm using a modified version of an amalgam of several slider sets I've downloaded, and I think I made it too realistic.

With the Nats, I gave up a leadoff homer to Hanley Ramirez in my game against the Marlins, and I thought it was going to be more of the same, but then I ended up with a 1-0 score at the end, with 5 total hits between each team.

This is down from 15 and 12 hits in the two games before it.

It's not laziness. He's asking the COMMUNITY what the consensus is. There are sliders here with several pages of information that in the end are basically written off as worthless.

Regardless, people don't need to treat the guy like a prick, even if it was a "lazy" question.

Thank you Pokerplaya, and its not laziness, i could go threw everything and get a lot of different sliders. i just wanted to know other peoples opinions whats working for them...thanks for ur input tho!
