        Hey Houston,

I tried a game with your sliders, and here is what I came up with:

        Code:
        Indians	1	9	0
        Royals 0	7	2

IP	H	R	ER	BB	SO	HR	ERA
        Lee 7	5	0	0	0	7	0	0.00
        Betancourt .2	0	0	0	0	0	0	0.00
        Kobayashi 1	2	0	0	0	0	0	0.00
        Wood 1	0	0	0	0	0	0	0.00

        Greinke 9	9	1	1	0	7	1	1.00
Compare that to an identical game I played with ~Guru~'s sliders here:
        http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2039384592

Anyway, take it for what you will. I tried to play the same style each game, to keep the experiment as controlled as possible.

The main diff i noticed from yours to ~Guru~'s is that the CPU pitching in yours throws alot more strikes, as opposed to mixing it up with balls outside the zone, which i think is an obvious thing when you notice your AI Pitch Success is much higher than his.

Well i made the changes and these are final I hope everyone enjoys these. If you need the pitcher to throw more balls let me know and i will tell you what to adjust. If you need more HOMERUNS not scoring enough you can try power at 80 but the settings I have give me the type of baseball I enjoy.

Re: MLB on FOX: PATCH #2 SLIDERS [WARNING]

Is that you gamertag - "Roy Oswalt" from Madden?????????????

Guys, a WARNING .... join this guy's league at the risk of having all the fun sucked out of the game, and having a feeling of Big Brother watching over your shoulder.

This guy will run this league like he is really Bud Selig. I played in a Madden 09 league of his and this guy is totally ridiculous.

1 - He will demand to talk to you at length (2+ hours) before he let's you join the league

2 - He is emotionally unstable

3 - He will trash talk you behind your back to other league members (he accidentally sent a mesage to me, not meant for me, talking crap about me to other league members)

4 - He will make rules and use them to exploit the game. Example - In the madden league there was a rule that you can't go for it on 4th down before the 4th period, and only then if you are down. He will be winning the game, you have 4th and whatever as time is expiring in the 3rd period, and he will call a timeout so the period won't end forcing you to punt. Exploiting his own rule.

5 - He will suspend your players left and right. Anyone reports you of a rule violation valid or not and - BOOM - your starting qb (probably pitcher/hitter in this cause) is gone for many games at his discretion only

6 - He will restart the league on a whim without consulting anyone, and all your time put into the league is gone

I'm not telling you guys not to join this league, but do so at your own risk. The league will not finish because this guy will piss off many members and they will quit. You will not have any fun .... guaranteed. I'd pick any random xbox live league before I would ever play with this control freak again.

Sorry Roy Oswalt ..... I'm just telling it like it is.

Re: MLB on FOX: PATCH #2 SLIDERS

                Hi,

I downloaded these and gave them a shot. Really like the pitching results (7k's with Beckett...through 9 innings though, which makes me want to lower down the fatigue a bit). Anyways, gave up two solo shots to Pena and Longoria.

Hitting is another matter, For one I do agree that there are way too many strikes coming over the plate. And then when I swing and make good contact the darn ball is not getting deep at all. No doubles...nada. I am certain I can tweak the hitting if I can understand what does what. From what I understand it is not just about raising power, but also contact to get more homers, or at least deep gappers?

Also, when downloading it seems to disable the ability to earn cards. I have not tried this but can I take any default difficulty setting and just plug these numbers in? Or are default bars fixed? May seem like a ridiculous question, but I am a new owner, feeling out the game.

Thanks for all your work and answers!

Thanks guys for trying these out. With these you cant unlock the cards and as far as wanting more BALLS thrown I am back to do a little more tweaking so look forward to unlocking cards, pitcher throwing more balls, more variety of hits and anything else I notice that needs to be changed in the next SET I release.
