Jerm's 'Real Time' Sliders

hey guys, so after playing around with the sliders, i'm leading the league with strikeouts, and producing a good amount of runs.

the outcomes of my games have been:

In my last five games i have hit 3 to 4 homeruns. my homeruns are fine.

so please, try out these sliders, I want to see how your outcomes are. who knows maybe I'm a genius or a no show. I'll have to see!!

Batting Success- 75
Batting Contact- 20
Batting Power- 90
Pitcher Handedness Influence- 80
Inside Edge Batting Zone Influence- 75
Batting Pitch Influence- 75
Batter's Eye Influence- 0
Hit Direction Influence- 85 (critical, for RHB upper left for HR, LHB upper right, sometimes i don't even have to direct and i have hit a homerun.)

Only problems i have with these is i dont use hit direction and i have my power at 100 and still dont hit enough homeruns. Your feilding speeds are too high and baserunning speed is critical to have at 60-65, 45 is way too low

As many of us have found out just having the hitting power at 100 will not increase your hrs. You need the right combo of hitting contact, success and power to hit hrs.

These look interesting,but I do however have a question.

With a.i pitch success and strike zone tendency @45 are you able to work the counts?
The reason I was wondering was because I have strike zone tendency @0 and still see alot of strikes thrown,but I am able to work the counts alot of times....unless of course I go up there "hack happy"

yeah man, i think no matter what that slider is at it will throw a good amount of strikes. but i have been able to work the count. to 2-0 2-2 and i have gotten walks, but the AI does throw a good amount of strikes.

i have pitching success high because with my batting success up high, the pitcher will have his good strides throughout the game and so will i with hitting.

i tend a lot of my games to go quiet at the beginning, usually one or two hits with both teams throughout the first 2 then after that random innings, i'll get a man on and then a homerun ball.

so trust me, i was like you guys looking for those perfect real time baseball game sliders, and i really think they're here.

so definitely give it a shot!

i use classic hitting with A.

it's great with the hit direction. fastball up and in, direct your left stick in and over the wall it goes.

i know i have been talking a lot of the homerun ball. but when the game first came out and for the first couple weeks of the season, my games were no offense..tons of hits, but no runs. NO homeruns either.

but finally, i'm hitting an acceptable amount. so no one is leading the league but they're right there in the middle.

how is the cpu offense? Are they able to hit HR's and put up a good battle?

how is the cpu offense? Are they able to hit HR's and put up a good battle?

i get homeruns here and there from CPU, theyre aggressive on the basepaths.

one game, i was up 5-6 in the 8th and the other team rallied to win 7-6 off a 2 run jack.

its realistic!

I played a very small sample last nite before my Brewers were on. I faced Zack Greinke and the Royals, I was up 6-0 after the 1st inning and that was the only inning I played. Corey Hart went deep for me so I do like that already. But I also went up to the plate hacking at the first pitch I saw, so that could of been why it was that score after 1 inning. So I'm gonna allow myself sometime to play with your sliders and see what the outcome is.

exactly, if you go up hacking, that will usually be the outcome, you gotta take pitches, first pitch for a strike. if you get the outcome like that (6 runs in the first inning) you can either take that game as your offense woke up and wanted to hit, OR you can take batting accuracy down once and AI pitching success up once.
