    Simple Slider Solution

Take whatever difficulty level you feel comfortable at, although either Pro, All-Star, or Legend is suggested. Set the AI Strike Zone Tendency slider to 0 and the AI Pitch Zone Tendency slider to 0 and go to town.

I have had some great games with these sliders using the Pro-level sliders as a base. It seems as if AI Hitter Aggressiveness is based on the effectiveness/accuracy of the pitching motion/pitching meter, which I find much easier on Pro. I am not the greatest hitter in the world, so I find this to be an amazing combo since the pitchers actually test you, but you still have to hold your own against the AI hitting. After averaging 7-8 Ks with Tim Lincecum in my first couple of starts with these sliders, I just had a dominating CG SO with 15 Ks on 104 pitches. Then I turned around the next day and Randy Johnson got shelled by the Brewers for 8 hits and 5 runs through 4 innings. These sliders make the game fun, give varied results, and you can still unlock cards with them!

    Enjoy

The sliders you mentioned -- AI Strike Zone Tendency and AI Pitch Zone Tendency -- are CPU pitching sliders. They don't affect User pitching results.

What is the AI pitch zone Tendency slider for anyway?

I believe there are 9 boxes that make up the strike zone, those boxes are pitch zones, if you have a higher pitch zone tendency you will have pitches that tend to be in one of them boxes(pitch zones), say twice in a row. The lower the pitch zone tendency means that the pitches will tend to be in various pitch zones(boxes) rather than in the same.

I was actually talking about the benefit of using the "Pro" default sliders as a base for these instead of All-Star. I was simply noticing the difference (for me at least) in terms of strikeouts and overall pitching. I was not trying to relate my pitching performance to the tweaks in the sliders, I was merely talking about the difference in difficulty. Sorry about the confusion!

I currently use default Allstar with strike zone and strike at 0 and pitch speed at 85 and I have been getting some good games.

Ive used the default pro sliders for 3 games now, and Ive also noticed a difference in fielding. lowered the pitcher strike zone,

the players actually react to the ball and dont slow down in the outfield.
              am I imagining this?

This is the exact same thing I ended up doing, with the exception of lowering the cpu's fielding speed, and been having some great competitive games.
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.
